we all returned to our castle, My parents entered followed by Aryan who entered mad I know why he is not that type of a man who can commit to something so marriage is like a sire to him, anyway I was about to get in when Tyler catch my arm tighten his grip on it "we need to talk" He stated & we went to the back garden so no one can see us "what is it?" I asked annoyed as he has I'm mad at you look on his face "where have you been all day?" he asked angry "you know we were at the Salvatore's castle?" I answered "yes, I heard you were talking to Nicholas Salvatore" he stated "are you spying on me?" I said in disbelieve how can he do that "it calls keeping eye on you princess, so why were you talking to him?" He asked catching my arm, I was a little scared "I wasn't Tyler" He tightened his grip on my arms digging his fingers on it "Tyler, you're hurting me" I stated tears on my eyes when one of the maids came towards us, he let go of me "your highness, the queen asks for you" She said when I wiped my tears "I will be there" I stated & she left, I looked at Tyler try to hold my tears as he left angry, I went to my room, he is always like this to me, Tyler was my father right hand, he trust him with everything, he even set this whole marriage thing, I didn't say no, I had feelings for him but I don't know why he is treating me like that
Cassie was going around order the maids what to do, she was arrogant and act like she was a princess, being Aryan's favorite made her ambitions, two maids were looking at her laughing and whispers to each other, she headed towards them angry "why are you two standing here like this? Get to work now" Cassie ordered when Violet smirked "we just feel sorry for you, Cassie" She stated when Cassie faked a sarcastic laugh "sorry for me?" she exclaimed "you don't know, do you?" Margret asked "Margret speak or I swear you will be dead" Cassie threatened very upset "prince, Aryan is getting married" she looked at them in shock like she was hit by lightning then left angry
~Sonehri's POV~
I was in the room talking to my brothers and I can't believe what Damon just asked me to do "how can you ask me to do that?" I exclaimed in disbelieve "it's for all of our sake, Sonehri" he stated trying to convince me "does father know about this?" Nicholas asked "I told him & he approves it……that's our only shot to take their kingdom down, what you don't know that king Trevor is dying and soon Aryan will be the king, it will be unstable level for them if we took advantage we will rule the whole area ourselves" Damon explained when Nicholas though for a minute before speaks again "it will be so dangerous, Damon" "I know" He said looking at him then turned to me "but you can handle it, I trust you Sonehri, If anyone have a shot to be our eye in this castle it's you, I know you can do it" I looked at him confused, he wanted me to be a spy
~Aryan's POV~
I get out of the bath room after I took a quick shower trying to make my head clear from all these thought to find Cassia looking at me with anger on her face "Are you getting married?" she asked demanding an answer how can she speak to me like that "excuse me, why are you even asking?" I asked angry when she looked down "I'm sorry my highness but I just heard of it, I was shocked" she apologized "you heard right, I'm getting married" I informed "you say it that easy like it the most accepted thing in the world" She yelled when I got more angry "Are you out of your mind? How can you talk to me like this? Don't you know who you're…..you're a slave …. My slave" I yelled at her when tears start to grow in her orbs "that's all I mean to you, my prince, but I always thought that you love me" she said almost crying "there is nothing call love, it call desire, passion but there is no love, even this marriage is far away from being love, get the hell out of my face, Cassie" I yelled when she left the room crying
Sonehri's POV
"I don't know the first thing about being a spy. I wouldn't know what to look for or not look for. Aryan doesn't trust me, he won't let his guards leave my sight. The only time I would be alone would in my chambers." I told them talking a bit too fast for my brothers, but Nicholas understood me and got what I was trying to say "Maybe you can have someone help you spy. Katherine is our most trusted servant how about we send her with you; two pairs of eyes are better on the inside than one. What do you think Damon?" Nicholas suggested when Damon thought about it " I don't know. What is she gets found out? They can kill her but if Sonehri got found out they couldn't touch her. Hurting Sonehri would be breaking the armistice and starting another war. Which Aryan's kingdom can't take after Trevor's death" He explained when I looked at him surprised "and spying is not breaking the armistice?" I exclaimed I really can't understand the way Damon thinking "you will be his wife no one will suspect you" He said when I sighed I feel so not comfortable to be in the middle of all of this "But Damon Selena would be better off with some she can trust being with her at their kingdom. Spy or not Katherine will go with her or I'll pull this plan of yours." Nicholas said more like a challenge to Damon who give in "Calm yourself Nicholas. She will go with Sonehri but let me think about the spy part tonight." He explained then turned to me "Sonehri, you and Katherine will leave in the morning. Tonight get some sleep." He told me. I nodded and went on my way. That night I tossed and turned the thoughts of what to come weighing heavily in my mind.
Nicholas's POV
I was at my room, the face of princess Leah Michelson doesn't leave my mind she was a definition of a real princess with the way she dressed, talk & walk her long brown hair cascade down on her back, her delicate skin her beautiful blue eyes she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen too bad she is already taken but I can always try
Katherine's POV
I was in prince Damon's room I sit the dinner ready and everything, I was about to leave when I saw him enter the room, I bow "your highness" "Katherine I need to talk to you" I looked at him with a smile I missed him very much when he was at this war "I'm at your service my prince" I said smiling when he sighed "Katherine, I had to send you away" I looked at him surprised but sad too "have I done something wrong my prince?" I asked looking at him wonder what have I done "you didn't do anything but I need you to be with Sonehri, I think you know she will marry prince Aryan Michelson and she will leave to stay in their kingdom tomorrow" he answered but I was surprised "Tomorrow!" I exclaimed "yes and I trust you Katherine to take care of her" I nodded "sure as you wish my prince" I said with a small smile, he looked at me and I looked at him for a while too before I excused myself and left
Sonehri's POV
I tried my best to sleep and forget everything that happened today but mostly I was thinking about what Damon said and if I really can do it, I don't think I can, how can I be a spy, I also remembered this arrogant prince….how am I going to spend the rest of my life with him, well if Damon's plane work then I don't have to
Katherine's POV
I lie on my bed looking at the ceiling & smiled to my self when I imagine me & prince Damon together, I know I'm just a maid in the castle but I love him since the first day I came to this castle when my eyes met his, I was in love with him from the first sight, I know this love will never see the light but I can't help it & I don't want to stop loving him
