Not So Pretty Arrangement

She sent a glared at him that would burn eggs, sadly, it didn’t affect him at all

“Didn’t you hear a single thing that I said?”

“I did”

“Then what are you still doing in here?”

He shrugged casually, “I heard what you said, but I still don’t think that your style alone, as you said it, would work”

“I know what I’m talking about”

“I don’t think so”

She really had a hard time in controlling her temper whenever he was around, “Really? What make you think so?”

“If you know what you are talking about, you wouldn’t be sitting here, sending a death glare at me”

“Then what should I do, then, Mr. Know It All?”

He shrugged nonchalantly, “Going outside and start divert media attention as what your brother asked you to do?”

“I’d do that in my own time”

“and when would that be?”

“Whenever I want”

He just stood there, leaning casually and looking so thoughtful that she thought that he already given up the subject, instead, he had to ruin her happiness with his next sentence

“You know, I really pity your sister in law for having you as a friend”

“That’s it!” she screamed at him and threw one of her throw pillow at him, which, sadly, he dodged

“What a temper,” he chuckled lightly at her angry face

“I’ll show you what a temper if you don’t shut your mouth!”

“Now, now, you shouldn’t throw anything at me, we’re going to be a partner, aren’t we?” he continued to chuckle while more pillow are being thrown at him

“Partner my ass!! If it’s not because of my stupid, idiotic older brother, I won’t even do anything with you!”

He laughed at her, “Isn’t it nice to have a beautiful girl throw something at you in change of the usual bimbo?” 

“Well, I’m sorry if I’m about to ruin your reputation as a man who could met anyone heart,” she drawled sarcastically

He raised one eyebrow at her and walking closer to her, only stop when he’s in a distance where he could see her breathing clearly, “but you aren’t always like this, are you?” he bent until his lips was only a breath away with her ear

She tried to control her breathing while in the same time try to show that handsome, cocky bastard in front of her that she wasn’t affected by him, which is a hard task, especially when he was so near

Oh, get a grip in it! For heaven’s sake, Cher! You’re hardly a high schooler! Cherrie screamed inside her head, and try to composed herself, even if it’s only for her sake

She finally got a grip on her scattered emotions slowly when Liam’s next word ruined her effort

“If I recall correctly, you used to want me,” he whispered in low, seductive tone of his that she remembered all too well

Red-faced, she pushed him away, “Stop being so full in yourself,” she hissed at him

He stepped back, but smirked at her anyway, “Why wouldn’t I? it’s the truth anyway”

She glared at him but didn’t say anything

“Nothing to say, princess?” he tautened her

“What the hell do you want here anyway?”
