Not So Pretty Arrangement

She obviously enjoyed the shocked face of all her board of director, but remembered the possibilities of gossips, she waved her hand, trying to get their attention

“That information aren’t going to get out of this room, get it?” she said when all eyes on her, “If one word is out about me being the owner of this company and vice versa, you would wish you never know me”

“What if you’re the one who leaked it out?”

She didn’t just hear it, did she? She wondered… but from the way Sebastian tried not to smile, she knew for sure that she didn’t imagine it

She glanced at one of her directors, “I’ve never want to be covered in some kind of gossip tabloids, which is the exact reason why I’ve never bothered to advertise who I am, and I wonder when I’d do that”

If only she knew what would happen in the next several hours, she wouldn’t say that. Because exactly three hours after she finished the meeting and wondered whether she would spent her night in a club or in her bed, her cell phone rang

She knew exactly who call her before she answered it since she used a special ring tone for all her brothers, wondering what happened, she received the call, “Yeah Luc?”

“I know you aren’t busy, so I’m expecting you in my office as soon as possible,” her eldest brother deep voiced spoke clearly

“Smooth, Luc, very smooth,” she drawled, “What if I say I’m really busy right now?”

“Since I know you aren’t, don’t bother”

She rolled her eyes, Luc was just something in an art of persuading people, it’s a miracle that his wife loves him very much, “Fine… by the way, how’s Leigh?” she asked him and she almost could saw him tensed

“I’ll tell you after you got here,” he finally said after a long silence and hung up

She stared at her cell phone for quite a long time before grabbed her car keys and raced to her sports car before drove almost like maniac, but she’s still alive though, thanks to one of Jade’s special lesson

She didn’t hesitate when entered her brothers company, and never bother went to a receptionist, instead, she walked straight to lift and to Luc’s luxurious office, never once noticed his company, otherwise, she would just went away and postponed questioning him, no matter how curious and nervous she was

“Spill it,” she demanded when she’s face to face with her brother and she could felt him tensed

“What do you want to know?”

“Everything,” she narrowed her eyes at him

“I don’t know where to start”

“Then start at the core of the problem,” she eyed him, “It has something to do with Leigh,” she stated when she saw his grim expression

“Does she tell you that?”

She brushed the question aside, never understand the complicated relationship between Luc and his wife, but she did know for sure about Leigh's feeling for him, “What happened?”

“She left since yesterday evening, no one knows where she is,” he said in a flat tone

She really felt like hitting her stupid brother, but trying to control her anger, she tried to know the problems, “What happened?” she repeated

“You already knew”

“Before she left,” she snapped at him, “and don’t you give me crap, I want the truth,” she added when she saw him opened his mouth
