The death of a friend can break a person, or reshape them. It could be the straw that broke the camel's back, or a motivator, a push in the right direction.
Aiden isn't sure where he falls.
All he knows is the guilt and the desire for vengeance. Maybe things could've been different if he hadn't made such a disastrous mistake.
But then an opportunity arrises for Aiden to learn more about his fallen comrade, to get to know him even beyond the grave.
And like death, everything that follows could make or break the rebellion.
