(Y/N POV)
You sit on a rusty bench with a 14-year-old Rias leaning on you, watching the golden sunset in front of you.
"Are you hungry? I packed us a snack." Rias asks, with eager eyes awaiting approval
"R-Rias......." You look at her at the point of crying from the news that needs to be told "I..... love..........your cooking..." You finish
She replies by giving you a death stare, "Y/N why are you so shy?" She says as she gently caresses your cheek
"I told you already I'm not, anyways isn't getting late? I bet Sirzechs is wondering where you are" You reply trying to wrap things up before you say something rash,
"Or.......I could stay here for a couple more minutes, and maybe.......do something..." she says looking at you seductively, making you blush madly
She then pins you down on the bench, straddling your lap, making your cheeks redder than they were before if it was even possible,
"This escalated quickly.." You say as you realize that you still haven't told her what you need to say
"Sorry for intruding..." somebody says, watching you guys blankly
"WHAT! WHO?" You say looking around frantically until your eyes finally land on Grayfia,
"Rias, you are needed at home urgently, The Gremory Family and The Phoenix Family are almost done your marriage plans!" Grayfia says somewhat excited, while Rias looks like she's on the verge of tears
"Marriage plans?" You ask holding back a river of sadness
"Yeah, a marriage I have no choice in" She whispers to you
"Phew! I thought....." You catch yourself before you say anymore, and Rias just giggles at your comment
Grayfia then opens up a transportation circle and leaves
"Rias, I needed to tell you, my sister and I are moving to a different city and cause I'm not old enough to work I can't stay here," You say fast and abruptly, not a 100 percent sure she heard it,
"W-What?" Rias stutters out, "Will you remember me? Will you come back? Will you-" You cut her off
"Yes, the day I turn 16 I'm going to go look for you, just.... don't go too far.... okay?" You reassure her, but at the same time reassure yourself
Her eyes are holding a river of water just waiting to pour out, You hug her as she sobs on your shoulder realizing she won't see you for two years,
Awhile later you guys return to the bench you originally were sitting on, holding her in your arms one last time "I-I love you Rias" You say fully meaning it, she stares at you with thousands of emotions in her eyes, she smiles for the first time in a long time, "I love you too Y/N"
