The Lost Princess

Chapter 4

5 Months Later
February 29, 1868

Aribella stared at her baby girl whom she called Aliandra Heaven Anne Elizabeth, she had little gold hair poking out, she had a porcelain complexion and green eyes, she looked like her maternal grandmother Princess Alexandra, her mother Aribella looked at her adoringly, Amber stared at her cousin with love in her eyes, Aribella was in labor for 22hours, it was a very difficult birth, Amber was engaged to the Prince, the Prince despised her very much, he hated poor people but he had no choice, the Ladies and Princesses were cheating harlots.

Aribella took a walk around the garden with her baby girl in her arms, suddenly she heard footsteps behind her, looking around she saw the Prince staring at his child with love in his eyes, " Hey" he said softly, Aribella stared at him with love and want in her eyes, " Hey" she replied back, The Prince smiled at her and kissed her on the fore head he also planted a kiss on his daughter's head. After walking in garden she decided to feed Aliandra so she sat down on a chair and took out her breast and started feeding her.

After feeding her, she stared at her and played with her lovingly until King Matthias cleared his throat he glared at the both of them, hate visible in his eyes, Aribella looked up at him and scowled, "I take it that you had sex with my son is it true Aribella?!" He spat with disgust, Aribella decided to lie, it was the Prince word against hers," Yes" she replied softly, King Matthias grew red, he hated this woman, she reminded him of his sister in law Alexandra, he told Aribella to move out and get out of his sight and the town , tears flooded her eyes she said goodbye to her friends and to Amber, she looked at the town she once knew and walked away from it , never to see it for now.

April 19th, 1868
South Havengale
Brighton Port, Louise

It was 2 months since she left that place, she was 2,000 miles from that place, her daughter grew up with grace and gold hair, she can't believe that her baby would be 2 months in about 2weeks, as she stare at the picture album she smiled, she was 19 years old and a single mom, she worked has a maid in South Havengale, the people here treat everybody equally.

Aribella took her baby to work with her they lived in a brick cottage in the country side away from the town, she loved to hear the birds chirping and the birds tweeting in harmony, the bees buzzing always soothed baby Aliandra when she was crying.

Aribella worked for couple who was in there late 30s the couple names were Angelica and Liam Gelding, she enjoyed working with them, they always reminded her that she looked like Princess Alexandra and that her baby favoured her too. This time Angelica explained that she and her family were going to Orchid Castle to see the ruins, she had to come to look after Clive and Olive, Aribella realised that they favoured Amber, but she shrugged it off. They would take the train back to East Nevins were she was coming from nearly 2 months ago, the journey would take so long, when they reached Nevins they rented 2 rooms and slept from exhaustion.

Aribella was anxious the whole time, she was excited that she could see the ruins of the great castle, the carriage ride was not easy, she had to look after 3 children, the carriage suddenly stopped and Aribella's heart raced like crazy this was it! She squealed in delight again, she allowed the children to get off first then the foot man held on to her. She gasped at how damaged it look, and broken, soon they cross the river to get a better look, after making it safely to the other side, they realised that there was a picture of a Princess and her baby.

Angelica and Liam gasped in shock and looked on Aribella, crying with tears of joy they hugged her tightly, Aribella was confused, suddenly her head started to hurt her, and she had a nightmare being in a castle with fire has a baby, Aribella started to get dizzy, Angelica and Liam held her still and took Aliandra , Aribella realised that she was indeed the lost Princess, Angelica took out picture albums and they realised she resembled her, so all along she was working for her family, Aribella decided she had to talk to the council that she was indeed the lost princess and that she had survived the fire 19 years ago.

July 26, 1868

" Why would I lie, I am indeed the lost Princess!" Mr. Long , Aribella pleaded with the President of the council, " I am going to have to ask you to leave mam!" He shouted sternly, " Aribella sighed defeated, but she would not give up!" She said with determined thoughts. While walking through the town she decided to visit her parents grave, after having a moment with her parents, she got up and was heading home to Havengale by train she bucked up into Prince Nicholas and Princess Amber, she smiled knowingly at her two cousins," Amber I am your cousin!" She squeaked in joy, Amber hugged her and she told them her story, Prince Nicholas stared at her feeling guilty, he raped his own cousin, he felt ashamed, he wanted her more than anything in this world, he did care if she was his cousin, after talking to them, she went to the train station took her train to Havengale.

After staying at the motel she headed home to her baby , she cooked food and gave her baby breast milk and went to bed after putting her baby to bed, she hit the pillows and went to sleep soundly.
