The monsters aren't real,

It's all in your head,

They like it quiet.
Hush, now, don't say a word.
Maybe they're real,
But don't be absurd.
Your mind is quite
Dangerous.
But in the dark,
You're quite helpless.
They scratch
And bite
And scar your eyes.
You can't run for your
Life.
Here in the dark,
This is their home.
Do you really think
You can escape them?
