Madison: (sits at a table)

Chres: I don't know why you chose this restaurant. I told you anywhere.

Madison: it was close to grandma's since she decided to go home. (looking around) also Bryan's is my favorite.

Tahj: (gives a customer their food)

Madison: (smiles)

Chres: (picks up the menu)

Madison: so dad. I think it's time I made my own money.

Chres: (looks at her) why? So I can't take your phone away?

Madison: yeah. And no. I want to learn responsibly. I don't want to grow up spoiled. I've had everything I own given to me.

Chres: okay.

Madison: dad pl...okay?

Chres: sure. I've been waiting for this day. But why wait until summer is almost over.

Madison: I can work after school.

Chres: okay. But as soon as you start slipping on your grades. No more working.

Madison: (smiles) deal. now do you think you can go up there (pointing to the register) and work some of your NFL daddy magic and get me hired.

Chres: you want to work here?

Madison: yeah.

Chres: you know Atlanta is the film city. You can find a job working with some major producers.

Madison: dad. I'm sure your first job was busting tables. Let me be a kid.

Chres: you're right. And I didn't have a football player dad to help me so...(motions her to the register)

Madison: daddy😫

Chres: I'll order you the same I'm having.

Madison: (gets up and walk to the register)

Tahj: thank you. (Smiles and put the tip in his pocket)

He's sees Madison

Tahj: (smiles and follows her)

Madison: (Walking)

Tahj: Hey. (Taps her on her shoulder)

Madison: (turns around) Hi. Tahj

Tahj: (Smiles) what's going on?

Madison: My dad is making me get a job. So I thought why not here. (Looks at his shirt) you work here? I had no idea the last time you was here.

Tahj: (smiling) yeah I do. I got to make it somewhere.

Madison: (smiles)

Tahj: but I did post a pic on the gram last night in my uniform. I saw you liked it.

Madison: I did?(smiling) I don't remember.

They both laugh

Tahj: I'll get you an application. And put in a good word

Madison: thanks. Tahj.

Tahj: (smiles) no problem. (Leaves)

Madison: (turns back to the table)

Jennifer: (sitting talking to Chres)

Madison: (rolls her eyes)
