Madison: (locks her phone back and get up)

Chris: (sitting on the counter) it's not fair Mommy

You: (standing in front of him) well baby you did try to cover up for your sister.

Mrs. August walks in

Mrs.August: is my sugar still upset with me?

Chris: (looks down)

You: Chris.

Mrs.August: I'm sorry sugar. I didn't know you had a deal with your daddy.

You: Chris your grandma is talking to you.

Chris: (looks at her) it's okay. (Gets down) I'll go read a book.

You: that's the spirit.

Chris: (leaves)

Mrs.August: (laugh) that boy

You: (shaking your head) just like his daddy.

Madison: (walks in smiling) don't leave againn.(hugs you then get an apple)

You: (smile) like you really missed me.(raise your eyebrow)

Mrs.August: (hums)

Madison: (looks at her then you)

You: Where's your dad?

Madison: (Takes out her phone) probably still asleep.

Chres: (Walks in the kitchen and snatches Her phone) nope I'm right here.

You: (look at Madison)

Chres: no phone remember? (Looks at it) it's unlocked? Woahh jackpot.

You: Chres give it back. (Walking towards him) Can you at least not go through it.

Madison: please

Chres: why? I pay the bill. New text from Tahj. Who's Tahj?

You: Chresantoooo..(looking at him)

Chres: (looks at you)

You: (get the phone and lock it)

Chres: y/n. I'm just trying to be an involved parent. A good parent.

You: not saying that Madison has anything inappropriate in her phone. But what if you saw something you wasn't supposed to see.  Huh?

Chres: then she would've been caught red handed.

You: (roll your eyes laughing) you play too much. (Gives him the phone back)

Chres: (puts it in his pocket) but why are there three ladies in this kitchen and no food cooking

You: because one of them is not your wife.

Madison: and one is not talking to you until she gets her phone back. (Walks out)

You and Chres: (looks at his mom)

Chres: what's your excuse? You're my mom.

Mrs.August: Chresanto...you're adopted. (Leaves)
