She'd learned to keep a shallow mind,
So humans didn't have to swim,
And it led them all to think they knew,
The thoughts she held within,
But below the shallow pool she'd made,
Was a world unexplored,
An ocean of her feelings,
Hidden under the pools floor,
The waters turned to blackness,
Where she had no dared to go,
Looking from behind her eyes,
To the ends of her toes,
She wouldn't want to dive right down,
To find what lays hidden there,
Because she knew with all deep waters,
Comes a lack of deadly air,
But she didn't for see the lonely boy,
Who finds a crack in her cement,
Broke free of her wading pool,
Into the darkness he went,
He told her not to fear thoughts,
As he take her by the hand,
And swum with her to places,
That the lungs couldn't withstand,
In their new found love,
The both drowned.
Was it really worth it to find that love ?
I say yes to this no matter what that one person that makes you feel this way take the risk of it.
