Where Should We Go?

The night before it happened...

Deeks POV

It was already 6pm and I was starting to feel tired. I was sat in the bullpen, at my desk, next to Sam. On a diagonal to me was Kensi. Wow. She just looked gorgeous. Her hair tumbled, in perfect curls, onto her shoulders. She wore a blue checkered shirt, dark blue skinny jeans and of course her favourite boots. I could see from where I was sat that she was wearing the bracelet I gave her from when I went on holiday. I never actually thought that she would wear it.

She was tapping away at her laptop and every now and again she would push back her hair in frustration. I could not stop staring at her. Her beauty was just beyond compare!

After about what seemed like five minutes, Sam must have caught me staring because he gave me a sharp dig to the ribs.

"Hey watch it!" I replied, slightly angered at him.

Callen and Kensi looked over at me. Callen just laughed and carried on typing on his computer but Kensi just stared at me. She gave me a very sympathetic look before she jumped out of her seat and grabbed her khaki bag.

"Okay so I'm tired so I'm off home! Good night boys!" She sounded so sweet, just like usual.

"Hey Kens, I'll drive you home if you want? After all I am going in that direction." I replied rather sharpish because I really needed to talk with her.

"Erm yeah okay then thanks partner!"

She walked over to me and gave me a dig to the arm before she waved to Sam and Callen. I rose up out of my seat and followed her to the parking lot.

Kensi POV

I couldn't help but notice that Deeks kept staring at me. I could see his shaggy hair do out of the corner of my eye. Not once did he move. I found it rather sweet to be honest, even though it was kind of creepy!

I was stood outside in the bitter Los Angeles air by Deeks' car. God I wish he'd hurry up! I pulled out my phone and sent him a quick text.

To Deeks-

"Get a move on, I'm freezing out here!"

To Kensi-

"Sorry sunshine! I'll be there in a second."

Wow. He called me sunshine! I couldn't help but smile when I saw this. It was like my little nick name from him and if I'm honest, I love it! Nobody has ever treated me as kind as Deeks does! I'm so glad he is my partner.

Deeks POV

After receiving a text from Kensi, I said goodnight to everyone and exited the building only to find Kensi stood by my car, shivering to death. I ran over to her quickly.

"Hey Oh my god Kens you're freezing!" I placed my hand on her arm and it was as cold as ice.

"Yeah I know," she replied "I just want to go home now please." she said this with such a sweet smile on her face. I walked to the boot of my car and popped it open and found inside my Oakley hoodie. I grabbed it and shut the boot door and sprinted over to her.

"Here put this on!" I thruster the hoodie to her.

"Deeks it's too big for me!"

"Look it's better than nothing! your freezing so please put it on!" she snatched it from my hands and wrapped it around her shoulders. I opened the passenger door for her and she jumped inside.

She just looked so cute in my hoodie. It was way too big for her but she wore it well. I loved the way she snuggled down into it. I was just so lucky to know her!

Kensi POV

Deeks gave me his Oakley hoodie which was way too big for me but I wrapped it around my shoulders anyway. Inside the car I fiddled with the heating but I caught the 'on' button for the radio. The song Ho Hey by the Lumineers filled the car. I loved this song so much! It reminded me of Deeks and I don't know why, so I decided to let it keep playing. Deeks hopped into the car next to me and just smiled. He knew I liked this song so he didn't turn the radio off. He turned the key in the ignition and started the engine. Just before we left, he said

"So Kens, I know your tired but you're probably hungry too? Do you want to go and grab something to eat before I take you home?"

"That would be lovely thank you! As long as you're paying!" I couldn't help but laugh and he just rolled his eyes at. God her was cute. I loved it when he did that. I just loved spending time with him alone so grabbing something to eat with him was just my idea of a good time.
