I started running, staring at my watch.

I needed to go to the lake to meet Aaron.

The truth be told.

I'm scared.

Scared of him.

Scared of what i'll do.

Scared of what he'll do.

There's something inside me.

Something telling me to go back home.

To lock the door and snuggle up with my mum on a Friday night watching cheesy films.

But something's pulling me towards Aaron Morrison.

I snapped out of my thoughts and sat down on a bench next to the clear luscious water.

All sorts of things started going through my head.

What will he say?

Will will he do?

I started to have second thoughts and stood up to leave.

But at that moment a hand pulled me back down.

I looked up to see him staring at me.

Glaring at me.

I quickly smiled as he took a seat next to me.

My heart was overloading.

The thing I felt wasn't love.

It was fear.

Fear of what he was capable of.

'Sorry I'm late, shall we catch a bite from that little shop over there?'

He asked sweetly, but I could feel a hint of angriness in his voice.

I nodded, petrified.

I knew that he knew I was going to leg it before he came.

And that was the problem.

I stood up and we went to get some ice creams.

As we sat down on a picnic bench, he started chatting.

'So Hayley, fancy coming to my beach hut tomorrow? It's set to be sunny.'

He spoke, in a sickly sweet tone.

My whole body stopped working.

His beach house.

Everyone knew about his beach house.

'HAYLEY!'

I heard a loud noise and looked as he slammed his hand down on the word.

In fear I spoke.

'Yes.'

I said.

'Why not? It'll be fun.'
