Chapter 16 - The Accident

*Next Day

*Jessica's P.O.V

The dinner last night ended so quicly.... me and my fiancee, edward, didn't even talked that much. 

And my parents were acting so weird... like SUPER WEIRD. They were avoiding damon at all cost! I mean, well, I couldn't blame them, maybe they were also mad like me... 

"Jessica, darling, breakfast is ready!!" sigaw ng mama ko na nasa baba

"Yes, maaaaaaa!!!" sigaw ko naman

.....

"Mommy, mommy, let's go to the mall today!!" sigaw saakin ng anak ko na si alysha habang gumagawa ng work-related stuffs sa laptop ko

"But baby, mommy is busy and besides, it's raining too... tomorrow nalang, ha?" sagot ko naman

"Mommy namaaaan eh! Last night you promised to that we will go to the mall today!"

"Tomorrow nalang baby... mommy is busy eh"

"Mommmy naman ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Heeeey, what's going on here ladies?" tanong naman ng mama ko na bigla nalang sumulpot

"Eto kasing si alysha ma, gusto mag mall today eh busy ako tapos umuulan pa" sagot ko namna

"Awww, how about I take her to the mall nalang? I've heard that there's this new jewelry shop that opened eh, I want to check it out"

"Are you sure, ma? Umuulan..." 

"Haaa, what do you think of me? First time na mag drive habang umuulan? Ikaw talaga anak, masyadong maaalahahanin... don't worry, we'll be fine... now alysha, darling, get dressed ok?"

"Yes lola, thank you lola!!! I love you po!!" sigaw ng anak ko na si alysha sabay kiss sa pisngi ni mama

The rain got worse... for gods sake, my mom won't answer my calls! What if something happened to them and alysha?! 

Oh, shut up jessica... they're fine ok... your mom and your daughter is fine... they're ABSOLUTELY FINE NOW STOP JUMPING INTO YOUR CONCLUSIONS... ughhh!!

"jessica, jessica!!!!!!!!!" sigaw ng dad ko which is nasa living room

"my god, dad, why the heck are you shouting?!" sigaw na tanong ko ng nakarating na ako sa living room

"your mom... and alysha... they got into an accident..." my dad said with such concern and sadness in his voice

"you're kidding, right? cause mom is a really good driving and... and...." before i knew it, tears started to fall down my eyes

"shush jessica, shush... they'll be fine... they'll be fine..."

.....

*At the HOSPITAL

*Jessica's mom only had a few injuries + a sprained foot while alysha was in danger, she had a big cut at her back and wouldn't stop bleeding and her head was also bleeding

"Damn it, I don't care how much it would cause for you doctors to treat my daughter! I will pay you, no matter how much it is!" I shouted at the doctor.. 

"We will treat her, ma'am. The only problem is, she's losing a lot of blood! And we had run out of stocks of blood that is type A. We had called up some people to get some of blood type A bloods but it would take them two hours to go here" The doctor explained it to me...

Type O.... my dad and I are type A's... and my mom is type AB.... oh god... 

"Is there anyone here in this hospital or near this hospital you know that is a type O?" My dad asked the doctor

"I'm sorry sir but there aren't any..." The doctor responded sadly

Oh god... is my daughter going to die? Is she going to die? No... no... no....

"Dad... what will I do? Will alysha die? Oh god... I'm such a horrible mother..." Sabi ko saaking dad habang walang tigil na umiiyak

"Shush darling... alysha is a fighter so she will not die, ok? She will not die, we won't let her die. Darling, do you have any... um, friends that has a type O?" 

Friends....? Oh... yes!!! DAMON, of course.. damon if the father of alysha! He might be an type O!

"I think there's someone dad..." Sagot ko naman saaking dad

*Damon's P.O.V

I was busy cooking my lunch when my cellphone started ringing... UGHHHH! Such a bothersome! 

I Immidiately answered the call and didn't even bother to look who the caller was.. since I was busy + who would want to call a person in this kind of weather? Gaaah!

"What?" I asked the caller... my anger and annoyance all vanished as soon as I heard that it was jessica who called me... wait, how come she knows my number?

"Hello, damon? Are you there?" She asked... oh those sweet voice... but, her tone seemed... scared and sad?

"Jessica? Hey, where'dya get my number?" I asked her casually, not trying to make her feel awkward.

"I got it from... um... kristy... look, I wan to ask you something..." Wait, umiiyak ba siya?!

"Are you crying?!" I shouted

"Damon.... your blood type is... O, right?" She asked while crying

"Yeah... why? Where are you right now? Why are you crying? Did anything bad happen?" Tanong ko

"Alysha... she got into an accident and her bleeding wouldn't stop... walang ibang taong blood type O dito... please... i need you damon... i don't want my daughter to die... please..." Jessica begged

"I will come for you, ok? I will come for you.. text me the place"

"Yeah.... yeah... thank you damon... thank you so much..."

Toot... toot...

There are three things in my mind right now... to get where that hospital where jessica is and to her hug tightly and say that her daughter would be fine...

Oh god... I really want her back... I badly do...
