Skye's POV
I wake up because I feel cold. Then I realized that I'm not on Chase's fur anymore. He's faraway from me. I whimpered, staring at him with a sad look on my face.
"He hate me.." I said.
"Who hate you?" Asked a voice.
"Oh, hi Rubble." I said, noticing Rubble was standing behind me with a popcorn cup.
"Tell me about it." He said, sitting next to me.
"N-nothing much." I answered, stares at Chase.
"Hmm?" Said Rubble, stares at Chase as well.
"Is it about Chase?" He asked.
"Wha- uh.. no?" I said, looked back at him.
"Reaaaalllyyy???" He said in a teasing voice.
"Really." I said flatly.
"Ok, ok.. sorry for teasing you!" Said Rubble as he walked away.
"I'm gonna do anything to get you back, Chase!" I thought.
"Ohh! I've got an idea!" I said as I walked towards Ryder and asked him something...
Chase's POV
I finally awake when I realized that Skye wasn't there anymore. Oh well. Who cares? But.. she's my teammate. There's no way I can hate her for a long time. But I still can't trust her.
"That's right Chase. As a friend. Not more than that." I thought.
"I think I should talk to her." I said.
"Hey Chase!" Said Marshall with a smile.
"Hey Marsh! Why are you so happy? Is it.. Everest?" I smirked.
"Yeah, can I talk to you Chase?" He asked.
"Of course buddy! Here, sit." I said.
"Soooooooooo....?" I teased him.
"Yeah.. I think I like Everest." He said, blushing.
"Aww.. my little buddy is all grown up!" I said, putting my paw on his shoulder.
"Thanks Chase. But.. how I'm gonna confess my feelings to her?" He asked.
"Just be yourself, bro. I know she'll like a sweet, kind and caring pup like you." I said.
"But, I'm too clumsy."
"No matter how clumsy you are, if she really love you, she'll always love you, just the way you are. And if she didn't, that means the God has prepared someone better for you." I explained.
"Really?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Yep!"
"Thanks Chase! You're the best!" He hugged me.
"All the best for my best friend!" I smiled, accept the hug.
"I'm gonna ask her!" He said.
"That's the spirit!"
He walked away.
