He drags me out of the car that he put me in. He puts his hands on my bare shoulders covered only by a scrawny tank top. His hands are rough and calloused as they push my forward.
And then they're gone.
A door opens.
The hands reappear.
More walking.
A turn.
Three steps.
Turn.
Five steps.
Turn.
Ten steps.
"Up," a gruff voice says into my ear.
It takes me a second to realize what he means, before practically tripping over the step.
Eight more steps.
Left.
One step.
Right.
Three steps.
He spins me around.
"Sit." He commands.
I sit, and am surprised to find that it's a mattress I'm sitting on, not a block of concrete or a chair. There's hands behind my head, and they're pulling at the blindfold, trying to untie it. It comes off, and I'm astonished at what lies in front of me.
