This is not the way things should go
I see blackness in my soul
What of the ways of the earth
Do I simply give up
Why do I enjoy pain instead of happiness
Why do I grieve instead of laugh
Pain is better than happiness
Grief is better than laughter
Life should be difficult and painful
Because we want our lives to be easy
We will one day see pain and grief
Instead of happiness and laughter
