Hopes Make Me Sick

They say that hope is a great thing

But I don't buy that at all

Hope has done nothing more

Than give me lies and false dreams

Being hopeful actually hurts

Because hoping is waiting

I would rather die

Than wait for something that will never happen

If you are hopeful, then I'm sorry

You have no place in my life

Your hopes are making me feel

Less than human

I want to put all hopes aside

and just live in the moment

Yesterday is gone and tomorrow doesn't exist
