Black Veil Brides is an American rock band based in Hollywood, California. The group formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio and is currently composed of Andy Biersack (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Jinxx (rhythm guitar, violin) and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). Black Veil Brides is known for their use of black makeup, body paint, tight black studded clothing, and long hair, which were all inspired by Kiss' and Mötley Crüe's stage persona, as well as other 1980s glam metal acts. They are also known as BVB and currently have 4 albums out and 2 EP's, and a lot of their songs are aimed at people who feel like outcasts in society. The name Black Veil Brides was inspired by the fact that a when a nun marries into the church and she wears a black veil, she is dedicating herself to God. So, you should dedicate yourself to whatever your biggest dream is. The fandom name for the band is BVB army.
