I don't know what you were thinking when you turned up next to my locker.
'Hi,' you said as I leant against my locker and stared grimly at you.
'Hi,' I replied curtly.
I know I was being rude and I had no right to be, but somehow it hurt to see you with that girl at James' funeral.
He was my best friend too.
'How are you-'
'Shouldn't you be hanging out with your girlfriend?' I spat, my eyes burning with uncontrolled loathing.
'What are you talking about?' You honestly looked taken aback as your eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
'You know damn well what I'm talking about.' I snapped before slamming my locker and storming away from you.
Why were you playing dumb?
