I walked over to my dad and Shawn
"Shawn let's go" I said
"But Kayla I was just getting to know Shawn" my dad said in a whiny voice
"Sorry dad but Shawn's mine for the day maybe you can have him tomorrow" I said laughing
I said by to my dad and walked out the door and as we were walking my dad yelled
"I APPROVE!"
I turned around, smiled and yelled
"THANKS DAD"
Hayes POV
I was outside shooting baskets when I saw Kayla and Shawn walking out of her house. Jealousy erupted inside of me. Do I like Kayla? No Hayes you don't. Wait I thought she was hanging out with Ashton. Was she lying? Well I would lie to me too, I mean I haven't been exactly nice to her lately.
Whatever I'll talk to her about it later.
Kayla's POV
"So Shawn whatcha wanna do?" I said
"Well I was thinking we could go to the little restaurant up the road and then I have a surprise" he said
"Ooooo a surprise, okay!" I said
Shawn POV
After we eat I'm taking her to Starbucks, and I am planning on telling her I like her today, and I'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend. I already talked to the people at Starbucks and they are gonna write "will you be my girlfriend" on her cup....I'm really nervous.
We were walking to the restaurant since neither of us can drive yet. While we were walking and she was telling me about how Hayes ditched her and her friends. Wow I didn't know he was such a jerk.
We got to the restaurant and sat down and talked and ate. Now we're off to Starbucks. When we got there 5 girls came up to me
"OMG are you Shawn Mendes?"
"Shawn I love you"
"Marry me Shawn"
And one girl shoved Kayla and said "move loser"
"Hey don't talk to her like that, I'm happy to take pictures with you and talk but do not disrespect my girl" I said
I just called her my girl....out loud
The girls left and we walked to the counter I winked at the barista so she would know what to do
We sat and waited for our names to be called "Kayla and Shawn"
I got up and got the drinks I set it down in front of Kayla and waited.
