Chapter 4

~ YN P.O.V ~

It broke my heart to hear Jay say that but I mean she is young.

YN: * walking in Jailee's room* Jay

Jailee: *playing with dolls* Yes mommy

YN: You ready

Jailee: *cleaning up* Yea

YN: *walking out* Meet me down stairs

Jailee: Kay

We're going to have a day out with my big brother Jacob. Well he's not really my brother just a really close friend. When Jailee came running down stairs we said bye to Asia and left. I buckled Jailee in her seat and drove off.

Jailee: *playing on iPad* Mommy where are we going

YN: *driving* We're visiting Maddie and Lexi

Jailee: *clapping* Yay! I Wanna have my party this weekend

YN: Jay we can't do it this weekend

Jailee: *back on iPad* Why

YN: Because we aren't prepared

Jailee: Okay

The rest of the ride was silent. When we arrived at Jacob's house Jailee was sleep. I unbuckled her seat and got her out. When I knocked on the door and Alexis came to open it.

Alexis: Hey Mommy

YN: Hey Baby

Okay Alexis and Madison aren't really my daughter's but Jacob is a single dad to twin girls and we spend alot of time together. Jacob is kinda like a dad to Jailee so she calls him dad and Lexi and Maddie call me mom. When I walked in Jacob came down stairs , Jailee woke up and the girls went to go play.

Jacob: Hey Jay

Jailee: *from the play room* Hey Daddy

Jacob: *going in the kitchen* Hey

YN:*following behind* Hey

~ Jacob P.O.V ~

I'm Jacob. I'm 20. Me and YN have been best friends since kindergarten. She is beautiful.Our kids are best friends. I just want YN to be safe with me. And only me.

Jacob: So what's going on

YN: Well earlier today Jailee asked does she have a dad

Jacob: Well of course I'm her dad

YN: Jake you do know that she was born through a rapist right

Jacob: Yes YN. I know that but I want you to feel safe. I don't want you to have to explain to her that you were raped and that's how she was born. Well at least not now. I want her to have a father-figure around 24/7. I just want the best for both of y'all. Ohana. Remember. Ohana means family. Family means

YN: No one gets left behind or forgotten. I know. I know. But you and Asia are the only family we have. To my bio-parents Ohana means nothing. Jailee is my world. I want the best for her.

Alexis: *running in the kitchen* Mommy Jailee is crying

YN: What happened

Alexis: We went outside to play and when we were in the play car, she fell out and hit her arm and her knee

YN and I ran outside to get a hurt Jailee. Oh Lexi and Maddie are twins. They're 4.

YN: * running outside* Jailee baby what's wrong

Jailee:*crying talking between breaths* I... hurt my.... a-a-arm......and my...... kn-kn-knee

Jacob: *picking up Jailee* We need to get her to the hospital. Lexi Maddie get your jackets and get in the car. NOW. Jailee it's going to be okay
