Hey guys!! Yes I know! It is taking me a LONG time to update but I have my recital coming up and I have been working really hard on that. I also have my 15th birthday coming up next Tuesday on the 22nd and then hunter hayes 2 days later! I also have hockey play offs coming up and I need to support my team. I also went and job shadowed my favorite teams athletic trainer because well that is what I want to do. I also love the comment that said "Slap them both"! I agree.... Enough of me let's get to the story.
Elizabeths P.O.V.
I began to feel sick. Tyler is worried about me but I feel like I have the flu. I am going to the doctor with Tyler tomorrow to see what was wrong. Right now I am watching Grown ups because I want something to laugh at. Tyler is gone and will be back any minute now. I laugh at something the character did then jump out of bed and run to the bathroom. I make it to the toilette in time to let it out. Gross. I rinse out my mouth and go lay back in bed. A couple of minutes later Tyler walks in carrying a tray. "Hey baby. Anything happen while I was gone?" I smile lightly. He is being so sweet and going to the end of the earth for me. I didn't even ask him to! I nod and answer, "I threw up again. I am also very hungry but scared to eat." He shakes his head and sets the tray lightly on my lap. He climbs next to me and puts an arm around my shoulder. Giving me enough space so I can eat the chicken noodle soup he made. I smile and kiss him on the cheek. "You didn't have to make this honey. I could have gotten it!" He shakes his head no. "Nope. I wanted to. And you are not getting out of that bed unless it is to throw up, use the bathroom, or go to the doctor. I am not letting you up until then." He crosses his arms over his chest for more effect. I just laugh a little and begin eating the soup. It was really good and I was really hungry so I ate it fast. I then noticed a can of coke sitting there. I smile and crack it open. "Here Ty. Take a drink before I do." He goes to protest but I give him my 'Don't think of denying it' look. He sighs and takes a small sip before I do. I set it on the nightstand next to me and cuddle into Tyler. He had both arms around me now and we continue to watch it. Surprisingly I finished it and went onto Netflix. I put on the notebook. I could tell Tyler was annoyed but he didn't say anything. I started to drift off into a deep sleep. Before I was completely asleep I felt Tyler kiss my head. I smiled then fell asleep. I dreamed that I won good ok lord Stanley. But when I went to go grab the cup, a baby was in it.
*next morning*
I wake up to see Tyler still asleep. I smile. I sit there a few more seconds then jump up and run to the bathroom again. This was a big one. I felt my hair lift up and realized Tyler was putting it in a pony tail. When he was done he kissed my head then left. I heard the sink running and threw up again. Tyler came back and placed a cold rag on my neck. I smile then another round comes. Ugh. Once I was finally done I noticed the time. I walked out of the bathroom and slipped a different pair of sweats on. I changed my shirt to wear one of Tyler's shirts. I pulled on a pair of his socks and pulled my hair into a messy bun. I brushed my teeth and walked into the kitchen. Kaner was talking to Tyler. "Hey guys." I mumbled. I took another coke out of the fridge and walked over to Tyler. I cuddled into him and he wrapped his arms around me. "Someone is a little cuddly." Kaner said. I looked out from under Tyler's arm and looked at him. "Aww. Is someone jeawouse that he can't have a hug?" He plays along and pretends to pout. He says, "No." I laugh and look at Tyler. He nods his head and I walk over to Kaner and hug him. "You'll find someone soon Kaner! Oh wait! You found Georgia! Where is your girlfriend?" He chuckled and I walked back over to Tyler. Cuddling into him again. "She is still asleep. She looked so cute I just couldn't wake her up." Just then a really messy looking Georgia walked in. Her hair looked like a rats nest. I laughed at the makeup smeared by her eyes. She looked at me and said, "I thought you would be at the doctor." I realize me and Tyler has to leave. I grab my purse, even though I hate the stupid things. We walk out to the car hand in hand. Once I settle in the passenger seat I open my coke and begin sipping it. I take hold of Tyler's free hand and he smiles at me. I lean over and kiss his cheek. I was so lovey dovey today. Before I knew it my coke was gone and we were at the doctors. I went and checked in then took a seat next to Tyler. After what seemed like forever but was only about ten minutes I was called in. We sat down in the office and the doctor came in. "Good morning Elizabeth and Tyler. So Elizabeth, I hear your sick? That is not good for one of our best hockey players. Has the other good one here taken good care of you?" I laugh and nod my head. "Yeah, he had been doing a great job!" She smiles then gets a serious look. "Alright. Tell me what has been going on." I nod and do so, "Well I have been throwing up. I had a high fever a couple of nights ago but that is about it." She nods her head and writes some stuff down. "Have you had your period this month?" What? Why would she want to know that? I look at Tyler and blush. "I don't get it until the end of the month. So yeah.... Hey Tyler?" He looks at me. "Yeah?" He asks mocking my voice. I lightly it his arm then say, "Can you go get me some water?" He nods his head and walks out the door. I turn to the nurse and say, "Do I need anything done? Tests... Anything?" I ask. I'm getting a little nervous. She nods her head then hands me a cup. "When Tyler comes back drink the water then go pee in this cup. Put the lid on then come out and while they are running the test on that we will draw some blood!" I nod my head. I'm terrified of needles. I absolutely hate them. Tyler comes back and I chug the water. I walk in the bathroom and luckily I had a flow holding inside that I needed to get rid of. I walk out and the doctor hands the cup of pee to a nurse. She then pulls out a needle and these little tube like things. I hold onto Tyler's hand and look the other way as she sticks the needle in my arm. I feel her pulling it out and I look to see her wrapping some stuff around it. She grabs the tubes and mumbles something I can't hear. She walks out and I turn to Tyler. "I'm sorry you had to come. Why don't you go sit in the lobby and ask them to turn on som hockey? I'm sure they would be okay with it being you." He chuckles then says, "Well, no. I want to be here to support you." I shake my head and say, "Tyler just go! Watch some hockey, I'll be fine." He sighs then gives me a quick peck on the cheek. He walks out of the room and a couple of seconds later my doctor walks in. "Where did Tyler go?" She asks looking around. I laughed. "I told him to go ask the front desk if they could put hockey on for him. Anyways.. What's wrong with me?" She gets a big smile and says, "Well.... I don't think you should be playing hockey." I widen my eyes. What is so wrong that I have to stop playing hockey? "W-Why?" I ask, stuttering a bit. She sees my fear and grabs my hand. "Your pregnant." What? Me and Tyler were so careful. Maybe the condom ripped? "What? Oh my gosh. The team is going to be so upset. Maybe I can play after right?" I was in tears now. I got off the table and she gave me a hug. "After it is born then yes, you can play. But any slam you get could really hurt the baby. No playing until next season. I am so sorry you did not get to play in playoffs. Good luck to the team anyway. But I think right now you should go be with Tyler." I nod and thank her as I walk out of the room. If anything it better be a boy. It just has to. I walk in to see Tyler watching hockey. I smile a bit and he turns his head and notices me. I smile weakly and he runs to me. "What's wrong? What happened?" I shook my head and said, "I think I should tell you at home." He nods his head and grabs my hand. He pulls me out to the car. Next thing I know were pulling up in front of Patricks place. We are going to have to arrange one of the white rooms according to the baby's gender. I sigh and walk into our room. Tyler following close behind. I sit on the couch and start crying again. I finally talk. "I can't play hockey til a little in to the next season." His eyes widen but he still doesn't get it. I grab his hand and barely get out in between sobs. In a faint whisper I say, "Ty... I'm pregnant." He freezes. I expected this. "B-But h-how? We were SO careful. What?" I cry even harder. "You don't want it do you?" I look down at my hands. It is silent. I look up to see Tyler smiling. What? "Why are you smiling?" I ask. I am so confused. He hugs me and says, "I'm going to be a dad. I hope it's a boy though. I want to teach him hockey. If it was a girl I would do the same. I'm going to have a child with the women I love. I love you so much Elizabeth. We will get through this and before you know it we will have a lovely child and you will be back to playing in the NHL. Now we got to tell the others. Team meeting now." I nod my head and say, "I love you too Tyler. I am so happy that I get to have a child with the man I love. Alright you know who to text and I get the others right?" He nods his head and we get to work. We are meeting up in twenty minutes at the rink. We even texted coach q to tell him. We get up and leave. We get to the arena in fifteen minutes and walk in to see every one in the locker room. Georgia and every one else is looking at us concerned. Every one was silent and I finally spoke. "I can't play the rest of this season. And half way through the next season.. Maybe. But that is if I will still have a spot." They all look super confused. I took a deep breath and I feel Tyler wrap his arms around me from behind. "..because, I'm pregnant." Every one is shocked. No one moves. No one speaks. I go to leave when coach and Toews steps forward. I heard them whispering but I don't know what about. They smiled and both gave me a hug. Coach finally spoke up. "Your spot is always open to you Elizabeth. We are happy for you two. Congrats. It will be hard with out one of our best players but we will try to manage. Tazer has something to say to." I nod and smile. Tazer speaks now. "Congratulations. Your spot is open to you when you can come back. We will be more than happy to give the suite to you for the time that you are here or if you can stand you can sit in the bench. But that is probably not a good idea. And one last thing... It better be a boy." I laugh and nod my head. Then there is protests. Every one is arguing about what the gender should be. I shake my head then get a great idea. "Every one please be quiet." They didn't hear. Then someone yells and they all shut up. I look at Kaner and smile. "Thanks Kaner. Alright. I have an idea. I am going to put two pieces of paper up on the wall. One is going to be for girl names. The other for boy names. If me and Tyler like one on there then we will use it." They all smile. Coach hands me two pieces of paper and I write boy on the top of one and girl on the top of the other. I tape it up and move out of the way as every one lines up to write there names. I laugh and shake my head. I feel someone grab my hand and I look over to see Tyler. He holds our skates in his other hand and pulls me out to the bench. He sits me down and outs my skates on and ties them. I smile and stand up. I wait for him to finish his and when he is done we both go out on the ice. He pulls me to the middle then speaks. "We should move the wedding up. To this weekend. Coach and the organization said we could use this arena and this ice for the wedding. I called both of our families and they are flying in. I also talked to Georgia and she is taking you dress shopping tomorrow. Also me and you have to go and pick out our cake after we are done here. You need to also pick out your brides made dresses tomorrow while you are out and I will get the tuxes with Seabrook since he has great style. We are also getting a professional to come in and decorate this hockey themed." I smile and nod. I love him so much for doing that. I kiss him and he pulls away. He backs up a little and looks at my stomach. I watch him. He looks so happy. I don't know how I didn't know this before. I already have a very tiny bump. It's not too noticeable. He looks at me and asks, "How far along are you?" I didn't ask the doctor that. I shrug and pull out my phone. I call the doctors office. "Hello, this is dr.greens office." I smile, "Yes, hi. May I talk with dr. Green please? This is Elizabeth." I could do hear the smile when she answers, "Of course. Just hold on for a second." I hear the line go quiet and wait. A couple of seconds later another voice comes on, "Hi Elizabeth. How are you?" I smile. "I'm good. Listen, me and Tyler were just talking and he wants to know how far along I am?" I could imagine the smile on her face right now. "You are actually three weeks along. It's a good thing that your baby is still not so grown from the egg yet though. That hit you took could have killed it if you were four to five months along." I nod and say, "Great to know. Thank you! Oh! By the way. Me and Tyler moved the wedding up to this weekend. As a thank you , you are invited and you could bring at the most three people." "I would love to come Elizabeth. Thank you and I will see you on.. Saturday?" I nod my head and realize she can't hear me. "Yes." I say another thank you then we hang up. I look at Tyler and say, "Three weeks." He frowns. "That hit could have damaged it." I shake my head no and say, "Actually since it is not that grown it didn't affect it. I'm just surprised I have a tiny bump just barely peeking through though." He nods his head and takes my hand. "I talked to Q about another thing to." I tilt my head to the side. He continues. "I got a week and a half off to go on a Honey moon with you. Blackhawks are paying for it as a present. We are telling the fans tonight since it is Wednesday and we have a week day game." I nod my head then ask, "Where are we going?" He smiles and says, "You will have to find out." I groan and we skate a little longer. Me and Tyler finally leave and go to this cute little place for our cake. We decide on flying to New York really fast after the game to go to duff. He could do anything. This is going to be great!
Once again I am sorry guys that it has taken me so long to get this done! I have to take a nap now being that it took me a couple of days to finish this chapter it is the Saturday before Easter and I get baptized into the Catholic Church tonight. Got to get some sleep since I won't be home til about midnight! Thanks for reading!
