Music Brought Them Together

Chapter 31

Justin choose the land rover to take Helen to the Doctor’s 

as Justin said it was going to take them half hour to get to the Doctor’s

they arrived at the doctor’s

Justin parked up in the underground parking so the paparazzi wouldn’t see them going into the doctor’s, Justin turned he engine off and got out the car, Helen did the same, Justin locked the car.

Helen walked to Justin’s side, they intertwined fingers and began to hold hands as they walked to the stairs enters so they could walk up to the reception

Helen POV: I cannot believe I’m letting him take me to the doctor’s, I really hate doctors

Justin: baby are you okay, you seem a little off

Helen: I’m okay, it’s just…erm…

Justin: what is it baby, it’s okay you can tell me anything

Helen: It’s just I don’t like doctor’s that’s all

Justin: baby no one does, but they do make us better and they can help

Helen: I know baby your right

before Justin opened the door to the stairs, he put his hands around Helen’s waist and pulled her close and hugged her tight, as he did, Helen began to relax and calm down about going to the doctor’s

Justin: Shall go up the stairs

Helen: yeah

Justin opened the door to the stairs, holding Helen’s right hand, she followed him up the stairs to the reception area

They both worked to the front reception desk.

Justin: Hello, My girlfriend has an appointment with Doctor Cullen at 1:00pm

Woman at the desk: Hello, what is your girlfriend’s name?

Justin: Helen Binding

the woman clicked on the screen on her computer front of her and typed Helen’s name

Woman at the desk: yes here she is, I’ll phone and tell Doctor Cullen you’re here, just go sit down other there for a moment

Helen and Justin: Thank you

While the woman phoned Doctor Cullen to tell him Helen was there, Helen and Justin sat down on the chairs across from the desk

Justin: baby it’s okay, you don’t need to me nerves

Helen: I know baby, I just always feel uneasy in a hospital and around doctor’s

Justin: look me in the eye’s , trust me the doctor will help you and I’ll promise I will take care of you

Helen looked at Justin in the eye’s, he meant every word he was saying, Helen began to relax and not feel so nerves.

Woman at the reception desk: Helen Binding, Doctor Cullen is ready for you, He’s in room 5 , through the door and down the hall

Helen and Justin stood up , walked down a little hall passed the reception desk , to go through the door, as Helen followed behind Justin, they walked down the hall to Room 5 , Justin opened the doctor ,he let Helen walk in first

Doctor Cullen: Hello, you must be Helen and  Hello Justin

Helen: Hello

Justin: Hello Doctor

Doctor Cullen: What seems to be the problem ?

Justin began to explain what had happened

Justin: Well we’d just come back from a having a little ride on the Segway’s around the neighbourhood and we got back, we’d gone up stairs after putting away the Segway’s, I said maybe we could go in the pool, Helen said her head hurt and that she wanted to  just lay down for a bit,  I went back down stairs to get some water for her and some painkillers , I came back up to find she had passed out on the bed and her nose had bleed , I tried to wake her up, but it was 5 minutes until she woke up

Doctor Cullen: From what you are saying Helen may have had a sunstroke , too much sun can over heat your body, especially if you haven’t had a drink of water for a while, she maybe need to limit how much she goes in the sun for a few days , and as for the nose bleed, it would also been a result of the heat. Helen I would advise you drink water, keep in the shade and if you do go in the sun wear a hat.

Helen nodded after the doctor had finished talking

Doctor Cullen: anymore problems just call and ask for an appointment with me straight away

Helen: okay Thank you Doctor Cullen

Justin: Thank you for your help Doctor Cullen, I will make sure to take good care of her and make sure she does everything you advised.

Doctor Cullen: Your Welcome, you have a nice day now. goodbye

Helen: you have a nice to, goodbye

Justin: Goodbye

Helen and Justin walked out the Doctor’s room, out of  other doctor down the hall, to the door of the stairs where the cars were, they were silent until they got in the car

Helen: I can’t believe I had a sunstroke

Justin turned on the engine, put the car in gear to drive out the car park, home

Justin: baby it’s okay, you just have to do everything the Doctor said and you’ll be fine

Helen: okay baby

Justin turned the radio on, as he did , one of Justin’s playing “Be alright” from his acoustic believe album ,

Justin and Helen began to smile and just listened to the song the whole way home
