So the night has arrived and I am so nervous. I told both the boys to not act like we are together so hopefully that might make it a bit easier. Jess and I got ready together, not that there was much to get ready for, it wasn’t a party, just dinner. Jess had a dress on that was way to short but was really nice. It was girly and was so Jess and I could tell she was trying to impress Ben.
When we got there the guys were already sitting at the table chatting awkwardly. When they saw us there faces lit up.
We both hugged them both and they both greeted us by kissing us on the cheek.
The whole night I could tell that Jess was flirting with Ben and he didn’t seem to hate it ether. And the rest of the night went pretty well and no one said anything about relationships or anything like that.
Just when I thought I’d gotten through the whole night without anything slipping, when we were saying goodbye, Ben put his arm around me and whispered in my ear
“I’ve been trying to hold myself back all night but I can’t help it, I just have to kiss you. I don’t care what other people think”
Before I was able to say no, he took me in his arms and gave me the most passionate kiss I’ve ever had. As he pulled away I looked over at where Jason and Jess where standing. I could see the look on Jason’s face, he looked confused and angry. Although Jess knew about all this, she still looked unhappy, as though she thought that I had kissed Ben not he had kissed me; there was a sign of betrayal on her face.
“What the hell is going on here!!!?” Jason said as I stood there not knowing what to do.
