Thank the heavens for the weekend. Sitting in front of the TV ranting in my head about that stupid date and my stupid idea that it would actually be good. Still ticked off about him violating my mouth. A little voice in the back of my head can't help but remind me of the first kiss. It was short, sweet, and I actually enjoyed it. Actually thought this could turn into something, and I would let it. I would take a chance and go for it.

But he had to ruin it. He couldn't quit while he was ahead. He had to completely lose control and molest my mouth. I touch my lower lip and briefly, I can feel the tingles from the first kiss, and then the zaps from the second kiss. I rip my hand away.

Thunder booms outside followed by a heavy pelt of rain. Lightning immediately follows and then there's another loud boom of thunder. I smile at the weather, it seems to know exactly how I'm feeling. As lightning cracks through the sky again, I try and remember the last time there was a thunderstorm, but I can't remember. Thunder booms and I remember how much I miss them.

Getting an idea, I pick up my phone and dial a number that I should have called before agreeing to that date. I put my phone on speaker as it's ringing and wait for her to pick up the phone.

"Hello?" Kristin's voice comes on over the phone.

"Did you get a new phone? Didn't my name come up?" I ask her, confused. Her caller ID should say it's me.

Kristin pauses, "I'm sorry, who's this?"

I sigh, "Kristin, it's me."

"Who's me?"

"Evie."

Another pause, "I'm sorry. I don't know an Evie."

I groan, knowing she would do this, "Kristin, I'm so sorry I haven't been calling you."

"I still don't know an Evie."

"Kristin please," I say quieter, "I have to talk to you about something important."

"You know Evie, I have important things too." Kristin's irritated voice came though the speaker.

"Jackass kissed me."

"He what!" Kristin shouted. She's interested now.

I hold back a chuckle, "He kissed me. Twice."

A high pitched squeal came from Kristin, "Was it good? Tell me it was good."

"Kristin!" I yell at her in annoyance.

"Wait! We're talking about Ashton right? That's his name right? This isn't about the other one?" Kristin questions me excitedly.

I laugh at her excitement, though it's a tired laugh, "Slow down. Yes, yes, and no it's not about Josh."

"Wait. Who's Josh? Oh, he's the other one! Okay, do how was the kiss? Both kisses!" Kristin's excitement is almost tangible through the phone.

"Kristin, calm down." I say quietly.

"What's wrong?" The excitement in her voice falls.

I sigh, thinking about how I want to tell her what happened, "Do you want the whole story?"

"There's a whole story that goes along with this?" Kristin asks.

"Yeah. I mean, he didn't just kiss me. There was a date first." I give details.

"You went on a date with him?" Kristin shouts, her excitement rising.

I laugh, "Yep."

Kristin squeals, "Tell me about the date."
