"Sorry mom " ,Bethany apologized , " I finished packing and I tried to find where you went and then I ran into this boy ....." . "It's okay. " , said her mom ," And I will tell you where I'm going next time ." "Are you hungry ?" , her dad asks. "Very." she replies with a smile .
After she ate and walked back to her tent with her parents , she was sitting on her bed reading a really good book when she heard someone outside her tent . 'Oh gosh . Who could that be ?' she thinks to herself .
After a moment of deciding she gets up and walks out of her tent to see who it is. "Hey." ,she heard someone say. She looks around until she spots .... Nathan !
'Oh.My.Gosh.' she thought . "Hey." she manages to reply . "This is for you . From your parents . " he says as he hands her a small lamp . "It gets dark pretty fast around here . " ,he says obviously trying to get her to say something .
"Thanks . " she replies, "Umm I'll see you tomorrow then ?" . "Yep . Bright and early. " , he says, "Oh great!" she replies sarcastically .
He finally walks away and she goes back into her tent and plugs the lamp in and sets it on her bedside table . 'I can't believe they have electricity here! ' she thought.
