"The child raised by dragons will have magnificent powers," her dad started , " and on its thirteenth birthday will learn to wield them and, one day save the dragons .". Bethany just sat there . 'I know my parents found me as a baby , but they aren't dragons.' , Bethany thought .
"That can't be me !" exclaimed Bethany , " I'm not thirteen and you guys aren't dragons ." . "Beth, the prophecy is about you ," explained her mom, " today is your birthday and we are dragons ."
Before Bethany could say anything her dad said," We are dragons in a human form. A long time ago , dragons were being hunted down and killed . The only way to survive was to take your human form or find the Dragon Sanctuary; Finding the sanctuary was almost impossible . So, your mother and I took our human forms and fled here to Jordansville."
'This is so much to take in !' thought Bethany , ' I can't save dragons ! I almost got eaten earlier !' .
"Well if all of this is true , how am I supposed to SAVE all of the dragons ?" , said Bethany .
"You are going to be trained ."
