Well, here we are... 40 years since that dreadful August day. I never thought it possible to miss someone I've never even met, but I miss Elvis something terrible. I hope he knows how much I love and need him and how much he is loved by so many others so long after he's left us. This week is both sad and amazing. Sad, because the world had gone so long without him. Amazing, because even 40 years later, Elvis is still as big a star as ever, and is loved and missed so much. We love you, E.
