CH 3
School was going good. I loved art, and me and Sam had become best beds. He was like the brother i never had. I never would have expected him to be so cool, since his brother is so stuck up. Sames in the 12th grade, which stinks cause ill miss him next year.
At lunch i sat with Chelsea, as usual.
"Hey Charlie, im having another party at my house, do you want to come??" she asked
"Depends, can i actually wear clothes this time??"i joked
"Yes, this isnt a pool party, so are you coming?"
"Of course im coming" i said like it was a ridiculous question.
--Day of the party--
I came home from school to see Seth's family in my house.
"Um hi" i said startled
"Hello sweetheart how was your day?" my dad asked me giving me a hug
"Um good." i said confused
"Oh, you must be wondering why were here" Mr. Nelson said
"Yeah" i said.. waiting for a reply
"Well, were having some electrical trouble at our house, so we cant stay there and your parents offered to have us stay until its fixed" Mrs. Nelson said quietly
"Oh, but how are we all going to fit??" i asked. Our house was big, but not THAT big.
"Well, fourtunatly Sam and Danielle are out of town for a class trip, so its only Mr&Mrs. Nelson and Seth. So Mr&Mrs Nelson will stay in Danielles room, and Seth is going to have to stay with you" my mom said
"Um WHAT?" i asked completly shocked
"Oh hunny stop, its not going to be that bad. Your bed is big enough" my dad said
"I can sleep on the couch"i suggested
"Nonsense, its only going to be for a couple of days, now go get ready for your party" my mom said
"But m-" i was cut off
"No buts" my mother said
UGH! i stomped up to my room and started getting dressed. Chelsea had dropped off a dress for me becuase she knew i wasnt really good at picking stuff out.
Once again Chelsea had me uncomfortable. It was WAY too short, but i did look good, so i didnt complain. Seth arrived at my house.
"Charlie are you ready to go to the party?" he yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"Coming" i yelled back and started heading down the stairs.
"So i guess im...." he began, but then stopped, staring at me not saying anything.
"Um, Seth??" i said. No response. I snapped my fingers in his face "heLlLOOoo SETH" i said again and he snapped out of it.
'Oh, um sorry" he mumbled
"You were saying?" i asked wondering what he was about to say before i came downstairs
"What?" he asked confused
"Never mind, lets just go" i said pulling him out the door. I was only going with him because my mom was making me, not becuase i wanted to.
"You like nice" Seth said in a soft tone
"Um, thanks you look..nice too" i said kinda weirded out
We got to the party and i got as far away from Seth as possible. I was hanging around with some of my friends from lunch.
