Beam's POV

5 hours I've been in bed, I've been trying to sleep so hard that black circles began forming beneath my eyes

"You have something on your lips"

His words were still stuck on replay inside my head, even after a long day of work, and that scene where my lips where touched by him, it bothered me the whole night

"AGH I'FORTH! Why do you do this to me?!" I exclaimed as I grabbed a pillow and hid under it

I met a lot of people before but never did someone had the guts to do what P'Forth just did

Images of how he kissed me flashed before my very eyes. Even though I had my eyes closed when that happened, his posture, his voice, and even the strand of hair that dangled on his face still popped up on my mind

Why do you have to be perf-- WHAT ARE YOU THINKING BEAM?!

My cheeks turned champagne pink as the thought of him danced on my mind all night. Fatigue eventually got into me and luckily, I drowsed off hugging the pillow next to me, with a suppressed smile on my face

*Cring Cring Cring*

The sound of the alarm from my woke me up from my deep slumber. It was quite late enough that sunshine was streaming through the window blinds. I was back in the awful reality that I needed to experience for 24 hours. My eyes were still dropping wherein any moment now, both might fell on the floor. I lazily got up from my bed, and went straight to the bathroom

I stepped into the shower, toes flinching as they touched the chilled ceramic floor. My mind was in shreds; I would never get that scenario out of my mind. I turned the dial, old and metallic, releasing thousands of lukewarm drops, darkening my hair and trickled down my back. After a couple of minutes, I stepped out of the shower and wore my boxers, shirt, trousers, and shoes

After preparing myself to look good, I went down to my shop and opened the sign that says Welcome

Everything was normal, however, the bell that was hung over the front door almost caused me a heart attack. With each sound the bell makes, my heart races a thousand times that it beats so strong I think my chest will burst. Also, every time the bell rang, my eyes instantly look over the door to check the person coming in

Am I expecting someone?

"Welcome!" As I blankly said to the customers who enter the shop

With this thought on mind, the sound the bell made became less and less of a worry some as those that that entered and exited my shop were just the regulars and some new faces

The day went on quite well, in fact today was one of the most normal days I had this week. I checked the clock and realized that it was already 9:53 in the evening.

Time sure is fast, better close up

After a little bit of talking to myself, I left the counter and went to the front door to check if there were still some people looking for a coffee place to calm their minds after a hard days' work

As I exited my shop, I scanned around the vicinity to see if there were still some regulars that are running towards the shop to buy a coffee before I close

After a couple of seconds, my attention was taken to wary skies encircling the city. I noticed that gray clouds were rolling in, covering the stars in the twilight sky, the air then felt humid. A storm's brewing in

There was no news on the television about a storm, but oh well, at least I'm in the safety of my own shop. You never know what might happen next
