VII. Affogat-o the Name!

Forth's POV

I was in the 26th floor as early as 7:25 AM in the morning even though the shoot starts at 8 AM. The reason behind this is not because I am excited (just a little bit though) but I need to get my hair and make up done

*Yawns*

I am here so early that I forgot to eat breakfast. I might as well get a cup of coffee to beat my drowsiness

I checked the room if the assistant of P'Song was there, I eventually saw him and asked him a favor

"P'Aim, can I ask you a favor?"

"Sure thing Forth, what is it?"

"P', can you get me a cup of coffee please?"

"What kind of coffee?"

"Any will do P', thanks!"

As P'Aim leaves the room, the hair and make up team, together with P'Song, has just arrived

I immediately stood up and greeted them with a Wai

"Sawadee"

"Sawadee Nong" they responded

"Ey Forth, these are the people that are going to fix you up today, be kind today okay?"

"Ok P'Song!"

"By the way forth, for your shoot, you have to be shirtless, the photographers will guide you on what you will do during the shoot, Okay?"

"Okay P'!"

Shirtless for my first magazine cover? I just scored the bullseye

Beam's POV

As I brew the last coffee, something pierced through my mind

Why do I feel that I forgot something important?

Crap! It is the name of the guy earlier! Damn Beam, you can't even remember his face, all I know was that he was wearing a black polo *sigh*

I was cursing to myself inside my head that I wasn't aware of a familiar figure that entered the cafe

"Ey Beam, why are you cursing at the coffee maker?"

Who is this person?

I turn around to face the counter and..

"Ey Kit!"

It was Kit, one of my best friends when I was still in med school, but now, he is still my best friend, a very supportive one

"Beam, if I hadn't come earlier, right now, you'll be stepping on your coffee maker"

"The only thing that I'll be stepping on is your height Kit"

"Ey Beam! You know I can punch people, right?"

Kit has a handsome face, a lot of girls fall for him yet he does not have a girlfriend, even one. Despite being handsome, one of his flaws is his height. Every time he tries to tease me, teasing his height is my last resort

After teasing Kit around for a little bit, I checked the time

7:50

Damn! I need to deliver these coffees right now!

As Kit was trying to throw insults at me..

"Ey Kit, look after my Café for a while, I have a delivery to make"

"Wait! Oi Beam!"

As I left the café in the good hands of beam, I can hear him cursing at me as I ran towards the opposite street

"Shit Beam! I don't even know how to make a coffee!"
