Part 9 - Hospital

Cels P.O.V

I was in complete and utter shock. I was finding in incredibly hard to believe that this beautiful girl that I met (just a few hours go) had saved my life. She risked her life for mine. The world had stopped. All I could see was Jess' Broken body on the floor. She was unconscious, blood was pouring out of her head and it was all my fault. I knew that I should call an ambulance but it my feet didn't seem to be working. I didn't know how long I'd been standing like this but I could hear an ambulance coming, and a huge crowd had gathered. I became slightly more conscious of my surroundings and I saw that Dani was crying and Aidan was comforting her, Tyger looked a bit like I thought I looked like, Richard was holding his mouth and making weird little noises and Steph was trying to give Jess mouth to mouth. I snapped out of my stupid trance and said;

''I-is she dead?'' I could barely here myself speak so I don't know how Tyger heard me.

''No she's not dead you idiot'' Tyger said. I was surprised, why was he acting like this? Dionne turned up and said;

''Hey Tyger lay off Cel, this is no time to be in a bad mood. When will the ambulance get here?'' Aidan replied;

''Couple minutes''

''Good'' 

I was still finding it hard to feel my legs, walking seemed impossible. After what seemed like hours the ambulance finally arrived. It was scary. Four people jumped out and lifted Jess on to a stretcher. They carried her inside the ambulance and this women said;

''Right only one of you can come with her, who will it be?'' Me and Tyger said 'Me' at the same time. I gave him evils. Dionne said;

''Hey Tygs I think Cel should go with her, and there really isn't time for this'' Tyger looked upset but nodded slowly. I hopped into the ambulance and we set off. I was holding Jess' hand the whole time.

~~~~~~~~~~ At The Hospital ~~~~~~~~~~

We arrived and the ambulance people lifted Jess out and rushed into the hospital. I ran after them. Eventually we reached an empty room and they immediately attached Jess to all these wires and stuck a needle in her. She was still unconscious and I was becoming more and more anxious. I was nervously tapping my foot and biting my nails. Finally they finished sticking things in her and one of them walked over to me;

''She should wake up in about an hour, don't worry love, it's just a mild migrane you're girlfriend will be fine'' I was about to deny it but then I stopped myself. I kinda liked the idea. She put a hand on my shoulder and gave a warm smile.

''Thanks'' She nodded and the rest of the team walked out to leave me and Jess''

I cautiosly walked over to her and sat on the edge of her bed and held her hand. Even without any make-up on and scars on her face, she was still beautiful. I knew she was unconsious but I wanted to speak to her, and oddly the sound of the heart monitor was comforting. But I knew if it stopped mine would too.

''Hey Jess, I know you can't here me but I wanted to tell you something'' I squeezed her hand tighter, took a deep breath and began; ''I don't know what Dionnes told you, but the way your acting around me its like she's told you we're going out or something'' I laughed once; ''I just want to tell you that we're not. Don't tell anyone I told you this but... I know that she likes me, I just don't like her back. I love her as a friend yes, but nothing more'' I cleared my throat ''I know I just met you but it's you I want Jess. The first time I set eyes on you I knew you were something special, when Tyger said you were 'obsessed' with me I felt really warm inside, I was seriously touched. I think you're amazing Jess, you're just so perfect for me. And when you wake up I hope we can get together and be something more than friends, I really hope you like me more than Tyger though, he seems to like you too'' Just as I finished my speech the rest of the gang barged in;

''Is she awake yet?'' Tyger asked in a panicked voice. I sighed;

''No but the doctor said she'll be fine'' Tyger breathed a sigh of relief;

''Oh thank god'' He came over and sat on the other side of the bed and held her other hand. I scowled slightly. Richard said;

''Ummm I'll just go get Steph, she's in the toilets crying, be right back'' Richard scurried out the room. I kissed Jess' hand and squeezed her hand even more. I noticed Tyger was staring at me. I stared back. To make it less awkward I decided we were going to have a staring competition. I lost. 

''Ha beat cha!'' Tyger shouted.

''Shut up'' I said. 

''Guys! Focus on Jess!'' I heard Aidan shout. I laughed slightly;

''Sorry mate, hey where's Dani?''

''In the toilets comforting Steph''

''Ahhhh'' There were a couple of minutes of awkward silence and then I saw Jess' eyes flicker. I stared at them willing them to open. They did!!!! She looked around looking confused;

''Jess! Oh I'm so glad you're okay!!!'' I leaned in and gave her a big hug. She stiffened up.

''Sorry but who are you?'' I froze. Did she just say that? I stared at her horrified.

''In fact who are all of you?'' She didn't recognise any of us??!?!?!?!? OH FUCK.

''Jess, don't you recognise me? Ceallach Spellman? You like me!'' I stared in her eyes willing her to remember me;

''Sorry but I have no idea who you are, are you my brother or something?'' I heard Aidan do a face palm and I looked Jess straight in the eye and said;

''No love, I'm not your brother, I'm your.... your b-boyfriend'' I heard Dionne gasp and and I heard Tyger about to protest but someone put their hand over his mouth.

''You don't sound too sure, and I'm sorry but all of you are strangers to me''
