4 : New Feelings

We have now been shooting for a few days.. Demi and I naturally grew closer as the days passed by.. I started to open up more to her and we would be practically inseparable.. with that proximity I started to finally learn more about how she reacted to certain things and to certain situations..

With that said, I started to notice a special gleam in her eyes when she was around Joe.. she would hang around with him a lot and be nervous everytime she did it..

Joe and I were like black and white.. we were complete opposites.. he had an outgoing personality and make everyone laugh with anything he said.. I was more quiet and sarcastic..

Today we shot for a while and then got a free day to do anything we want so I used it to call Miley so we could catch up

I was talking to her explaining how everything was working and of course, questions about Demi emerged, like always..

I told her how much I missed her and then the door opened making me look at it

- Sorry.. - Demi whispered since she was quite loud while coming inside

I smiled and kept on talking while I looked at her looking around for something.. Miley told me she had to hang up since they were calling her on set so we started saying our goodbyes, which sometimes were the most annoying thing ever.. she would tell me a million times how she missed me and how she couldn't wait to be with me and I replied back.. we finally hung up and I cleared my throat while putting my phone down..

Demi was still looking for something so I asked her if everything was alright. She stopped for a while and took a deep breath - I can't find my lyric book.. - she said looking down and searching through the bag again

- Hum.. I can help you if you want.. - I offered while standing up and getting closer to her

- You don't have to - She smiled

I started helping - But I want to.. - she smiled at me and nodded

We searched everywhere.. even in my things.. but it wasn't anywhere.. we did it for a while until Demi finally gave up, but I didn't..

- It's fine.. I can always start all over - she told me rolling her eyes

- No, we have to find it.. there's gold in there - I joked making her chuckle lightly

- It's fine.. really.. lets just do something else..

I nodded and stood up straight - Hum.. you wanna go for a walk? - I asked.. her smile appeared out of nowhere warming my heart.. it was a beautiful smile

She nodded and we walked out.. it was common for us to just take a walk and talk.. She was one of the few people that I was able to trust..

Demi also opened up to me about her life.. she told me her parents were divorced, that her mom remarried..

We grew a tiny but small relationship but today, we took a step further..

Demi and I were sitting on the wood planks above water, staring down at the river when she changed the subject of the conversation

- Can I.. trust you?.. - she asked making me look her way with a frown

- Of course you can! I'm here for you - I chuckled

She took a deep breath and looked away - sometimes I feel like.. everyone hates me.. I don't know

- Why do you feel that way?

She shrugged - I mean.. I'm loud.. I'm not the most attractive.. not the smartest at all either - she said in a chuckle - I know it's all irrational but.. I've always struggled with that.. sometimes I feel like everyone is just judging me while I walk by..
