Arif just grinned back and smiled innocently:

"Yes Mama, I know! Baba is gone to the Masjid to pray Salah! And he promised that he was going to get me a new teddy bear!" 

Almirah gulped as a few more fresh teardrops escaped from the corner of her eyes. 

Little did Arif know, he won't be getting that teddy bear, neither will he ever see his baba ever again.

His beloved Baba was involved in a hit and run and immediately declared dead at the scene.
