One Week Later
Percy hadn't expected anything out of the ordinary to happen that day. They had just returned from their honeymoon, and Luke was out shopping.
There was a downside to the soulmate thing. If someone got hurt, so did the other. When Percy suddenly collapsed, he knew something was wrong. He struggled to reach for his phone.
"Annabeth?"
"Percy? What is it? You sound awful."
"I think something happened to Luke," he wheezed. "I just collapsed. Can you activate the tracker on his cell?"
There was silence and then keyboard clicking as if she was typing something on the computer. She hummed thoughtfully.
"I have his location. I'm going to contact Jason and have him get you. Nico is with me. He said he would get Luke."
"Yeah, okay."
