Beach Day

When we arrived at the beach we all set up the umbrellas and coated ourselves in sun screen. Sebastian and I took a few pictures together after much insistence from Emily and the camera men from the castle.

After that attention causing event we went down to the water, Sebastian close by my side glaring at every guy who glanced at me.

I stood on my tip toes pecking his lips "Teach me how to swim" I said

He nodded and we walked deeper into the water until it was up to my chest and just above his belly button.

"Do you know how to float?" He asked me

I nodded "yeah I think so"

"Alright so all you have to do is float move you arms like propellers and kick your feet" he grinned

"That sounds like a lot of multitasking" I mummerred

I twirled my finger in the water making a small funnel appear. Sebastian quickly grabbed my hand "No magic" he said

I pouted and lifted my feet from the sand covered floor of the ocean. Extending them behind me I began to sink fast. I kicked my feet to no avail as I continued to sink. Sebastian grabbed my waist pushing me back up so my body was horizontal.

"Relax babe" he said his amusement clearly shown in his voice

"I did what you said and it didn't work" I pouted

"No you didn't" he said

"Yes-"

"You forgot the arms" he said

"Oh" I murmured floating on my stomach

"Now try it again" he said

I began kicking my feet and alternating my arms and I actually began to move. Unfortunately I got too excited and forgot to breathe and sank again

Sebastian easily swam over to me with a smile "That was better babe great job"

I beamed at his praise "Really? Thanks"

"Now just turn your head to the side opposite of the arm that is forward and breathe in, then breathe out underwater" he said

"Got it" I said

I slightly went underwater before coming back up and kicking. I caught my rhythm and began breathing like he told me to.

When I got tired I came back up to see Sebastian already swimming towards me. I had to keep floating since my feet no longer touched the ground but when he reached me the water was only up to his pecks.

"My mate can swim" Sebastian said spinning me around with a look of pride on his face

I smiled happily wrapping his my legs around his waist "Thanks for teaching me Ashton"

"No problem Am" he said

"Guys! Come on!" Jace yelled

We both swam back to shore walking out of the ocean.

"Since when can you swim?" Emily and Jace asked me in unison

"Since now, Sebastian just taught me" I said drying off

"Nice, do you all want to get ice cream?" Emily asked

Everyone nodded so I put my jean short shorts back on, not bothering with a shirt. As we all walked up the beach I put my wet hair into a messy bun since it was now all stringy and ugly.

When we got to the ice cream shop it had a group of teens sitting at one booth, and a couple of families sitting at the tables. They all looked up when we entered most likely sensing our powerful aura even as humans.
