A Day Of Peace

Sasuke was in the living room carefully watching naruto as he played around on the floor, hoping the toddler won't try to eat something that shouldn't be even touched.
Sasuke sighed he was clearly exhausted from yesterdays events.
"Dada wook wook"!
Said the blond toddler as he proudly held up a dead fly to show sasuke.
"Gross we're washing your hands now."
Sasuke said as he picked up naruto and made him drop the dead fly.
"Juju wah hands"
Naruto said hoping he could get out of washing them for the second time that day.
"Well they're getting washed again."
Sasuke said as he enetered the bathroom and had begun to clean naruto's hands.
"Okay kid you need something better to do with your time that doesn't involve dead insects'
Sasuke said as he was drying off naruto's hands.
"Ou pway wi me dada!"
Naruto said excitedly.
....
"Sure I'll play with you kid."
Sasuke said as he carried his adopted child out the bathroom
"Dada pway piwate"
.....
"I rather not naruto, pick something else."
Sasuke said.
"Nooo!, wan pway piwate!"
Naruto whined.
Sasuke sighed knowing if he didn't comply with the baby's request he would bother him all day.

"Fine I'll play but only for a little bit"
"DADA PWAY DADA PWAY"
Naruto shouted with his voice full of excitement.
"Not too loud naruto"
Sasuke said as he rubbed his ear.
"Dada me ged sowd"
Naruto said referring to his foam swords in his toy chest.
"Yeah we'll go get them"
Sasuke said as he walked to the room he and naruto shared, once inside sasuke placed naruto down and he watched the blond toddler dig inside his toybox, the blonde toddler was so small he looked like he could fall inside the box full of toys.
"Me ged id dada"
Naruto proudly held up two foam pirate swords.
"Good now how does this work?"
Sasuke asked
"Dada haf be bad guy"
Said the blond toddler.
"Why do I have to be the bad guy....who am I kidding I'm use to it.
Sasuke said with a hint of saddness in his voice but not enough for naruto to notice.
"Dada haf be bad guy cuz dada old."
Naruto said matter of factly.
....
"I'm not old naruto, I'm only seventeen"
Sasuke said feeling slightly offended.
"Dada old dada old dada old"
Naruto mockingly chanted his insult towards his father figure.
"I'll show you old naruto"
Sasuke thought to himself.
"Arrgh ou bad an me hafta fi ou"
Naruto said trying his best to sound like a pirate.

Sasuke sighed thinking he should get this over with.
....
"Arrgh you dare challenge Sasuke Uchiha"
Sasuke said in his best pirate voice.
"Noo ,dada pose haf piwate mame"
Naruto said.
"A pirate name huh....then you dare challenge Red Eyes Uchiha."
Sasuke said.
"Yeah ou ged my tweasure".
Naruto said as he got out a foam sword.
"Oh I see we're getting serious, then bring it"
Sasuke said.
"Dada ged sowd do"
Naruto handed Sasuke a foam pirate sword so they could stage their battle.
"Thanks now let's do this"
Sasuke said as he held his sword up
Naruto began swinging his foam sword wildly but before sasuke could swing his foam sword.
Naruto's and Sasuke's "epic" battle took them from the bedroom to the living room.
Naruto was giggling madly until his foam sword had smacked his father on the face.
"Uh oh."
Was all naruto said, hoping sasuke would not be mad at him.

"Sowy dada"
Naruto said in his most sincerest.
.....
"Dada nod huwt"
Naruto asked on the verge of tears.
.......
"Naruto how....how."
Sasuke said faking his saddness.
"Me sowy dada me no pway no...."
Before naruto could finish his sentence sasuke had quickly grabbed him and he began to tickle the toddler.
"How dare you think I'm gonna let you get away with landing a hit on me."
"Ha ha ha ha dada no moe!!"
Naruto managed to say between his fits of laughter.
"Alright I think we're done here."
Sasuke said as he laid naruto on his lap.
"Dada daipy"
Naruto said tugging on sasuke's shirt.

"Darn it I guess I tickled you too hard, how bad is it this time?"
Sasuke said hoping naruto didn't poop again.
Naruto giggled.
"Id sapise"
Naruto said with a unusual amount of enthusiasm.
"You just love to torture me don't you kid."
Sasuke said as he lightly smiled.
"Dada do id ta nawudo"
Naruto said referring to sasuke's little prank

Sasuke sighed
"Touché kid touché"
Sasukd said as he picked up the small child so he could change him.
Naruto looked at sasuke with a dumbfounded expression.
"What is it naruto?"
Sasuke asked as he noticed the child staring at him.
"Wad dat mean dada?"
Naruto asked.
"What does what mean?"
Sasuke laid naruto on the couch and he grabbed the pack of diapers from beside the couch.
"Wad ou say dada"

"Oh you mean touché"
Naruto nodded.
"It means that you made a clever point or a good comeback"
Sasuke said as he untaped the sides of the diaper.
"Wad dat mean dada?"
Naruto asked again.
"What, clever?"
Naruto nodded
"It means to show intelligence or aptitude over something"
Sasuke wiped down naruto and he began sprinkling baby powder on him.
"Oh...dada wad dat mean"
Naruto asked a third time.
Sasuke quickly put naruto into a new diaper and he placed the toddler down on the floor.
"Dada wad dat mean!"
Naruto whined.
Sasuke picked up naruto and he begun to blow raspberries on the child's belly.
"Ha ha ha ha ha!!"
The living room began to fill with the child's laughter.
"You talk too much naruto, that's what it means"
Sasuke lightly tossed the laughing toddler into the air quickly catching him.
"Gan dada gan!!"
Naruto said excitedly.
Sasuke giggled as he tossed naruto into the air.
"Hahaha!!"
Naruto lit up with laughter he hadn't had this much fun with his dad before.
Sasuke had tossed naruto one more time before he fell back onto the couch with naruto in his hands.
Naruto sat on sasuke's stomach giggling like a madman, the young toddler had a idea he could make his dad laugh the toddler lifited the teen's shirt up and naruto attempted to blow raspberries on sasuke's stomach.

"Ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
Sasuke bellowed with laughter, the uchiha had not felt such pleasure in a long time.
"Mak dada waff!"
"Awww!"

Sasuke eyes went wide he quickly rose up to see not only Karin standing in the stairwell but he saw a massive amount of fangirls outside looking through his windows and right in front of his door he saw sakura.

"He's such a good father!!"
A random fangirl yelled.
"Be my husband!!"
"Marry me!!"
"We could make beautiful children!!"
Different fangirls were yelling different things.
"Karin close the curtains!"
Sasuke said with a slight blush.
"Huh..oh yeah"
Karin said snapping out of her daze.
Sakura cleared her throat and she sat on the couch with sasuke.
"Mommy!!"
Naruto slid off of sasuke and he rushed to sakura hughing her the best he could.
"Hey naruto, how are you doing today."
Sakura asked still smiling.
"Me haf fun mommy, me an dada pway an me mak dada waff mommy!!"
Naruto said excitedly
Sakura giggled looking at sasuke the uchiha quickly turned his head away still blushing.
"I know I saw you do it."
Sakura said rubbing naruto's hair she then placed naruto back on the couch with sasuke.
Naruto giggled.
"An me an dada pway piwate, dada haf be baa guy cuz dada old"
Sakura laughed.
Sasuke blushed harder and handed naruto his bottle of orange juice.
"Hey kid what don't you drink your juice and just quiet down for a bit."
Naruto took the bottle and he began to suck on it.
"So is there something you wanted."
Sasuke asked avoiding eye contact.
Yeah I have a note from Lady Tsunade, you might like the news.
Sakura handed the uchiha the note.
Hey karin could you step out for a moment
"Fine"
Karin said as she left the living room
Sasuke read the note.
....
"So I'm able to do missions again?"
Sasuke said surprised.
"Under my watchful eye"
Sakura said.
"Heh, then I guess it's not that bad then"
Sasuke said a little relieved.
"Dada me hungwy"
Naruto whined.
"Yeah it is about lunch time, what do you want to eat?"
Sasuke asked the toddler.
"Me wan wamen dada!"
Naruto said excitedly.
Sakura smile had disappeared.
"You okay sakura?"
Sasuke asked.
....
"Yeah I'm fine sasuke."
Sakura and Sasuke was silent for a few seconds right before sasuke was about to open his mouth sakura interrupted the uchiha.
"Look I know naruto jumped in front of you and your brother, I don't blame you as much for his death anymore."

The two teens went silent again, this time a hungry toddler interrupted their shared silence.
"Dada me wan wamen dada!"
Naruto whined again.
"Kid you had ramen yesterday, how about chicken nuggets instead?"
Sasuke said as he picked up the toddler.
"Bud wan wamen dada."
Said the toddler.
"No you will have the chicken nuggets, I didn't spend the extra three dollars for the dinosaur shaped ones for nothing.
Sasuke said as he carried naruto into the kitchen, placing the baby in the highchair.
"Aww..no fa."
Naruto said as he pouted
Sakura followed sasuke into the kitchen.
"You sound like a real parent sasuke."
Sakura said a little surprised.
"At least I'm doing something right."
"Dada won ged me wamen an id nod fa."
Said naruto as he resumed his pouting.
"Fair...what's not fair is the fact I had to spend seven dollars on a bag of chicken nuggets."
Sasuke said annoyed.
Sakura giggled.
I'm going to eat some leftover riceballs...you want some sakura?
Sasuke asked as he placed a small plate of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets into the oven.
"Sure I haven't had lunch yet"
Sakura said.
Sasuke grabbed the riceballs from his refrigerator and he placed it in the microwave.
(Several minutes later)
"Dada."
Naruto tugged on sasuke's shirt.
"Yes naruto?"
"Me ged ishe cweam wen me ead"
Naruto asked hoping sasuke would say yes.
"No but you can have some for dessert later tonight."
Sasuke said as he pulled the chicken nuggets from the oven and placed them on a plate on Naruto's highchair tray.
"Bud dat do wong dada."
Naruto whined.
"Naruto listen to your dad, he said you can have some later understand."
Sakura scolded.
"Otay"
Naruto said defeated
"Good now eat your lunch"
Sakura said.
Naruto began eating his chicken nuggets happily.
"Thanks"
Sasuke said as he pulled the riceballs from the microwave.
"Oh they're ready"
Sakura said as she grabbed one of the riceballs from the plate.
.....
"This has been the most relaxing day I've had in months"
Sasuke said as he began eating his riceball.
...
"More and more people are beginning to forgive you sasuke"
Sakura said as she took a bite of her riceball.
"They are?"
"Yes I have been telling people the truth about what happened, and they're slowly starting to forgive you."
Sakura said as she walked towards naruto.
"That's great."
Sasuke said.
"You sure did take quite a beating from everyone."
Sakura said as she laughed.
"Yeah but I deserve all of it, all I ask is that they don't kill me, I have to take care of the sunshine in my life."
Sasuke said as he rubbed naruto's head.
"I think everyone should meet naruto."
Sakura said.
"But won't they resent him?"
Sasuke asked a little worried.
"He's just a baby, the will understand".
Sakura said reassuring Sasuke.
"You're right I should."
Sasuke said as he finished off his riceball.
"Well sasuke I should head back I know Lady tsunade still needs help...but I'll swing by tomorrow sounds good."
Sakura said as she turned to face the raven haired teen

Sasuke smiled
"Yeah sounds good"
"Mommy mommy!!"
Naruto called out to sakura.
"Yes sweetie"
Sakura replied.
"Hug hug."
Naruto said as he raised his arms up.
"Of course"
Was all sakura said as she picked up and hugged naruto.
"Mommy will be back tomorrow okay, can you be good for your daddy?"
"Yeah mommy me be goo."
Naruto said.
"Good"
Sakura placed naruto back in his highchair and she left.
....
"Me done dada."
Naruto said.
"You ate it all good job."
Sasuke said as he picked up his child.
Naruto yawned.
"Sounds like it's naptime kid"
The toddler rubbed his eyes and he rested his head on sasuke's shoulder.
"Let's put you to bed"
Sasuke said as he went to his room and laid naruto in his crib, he watched the child sleep looking at his rising chest as the baby slept peacefully.

I don't deserve this...but since I have it I will do everything in my power to have him raised up right...I promise naruto.
