My parents were murdered a little over a month ago and now I get to go live with my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin that I have never met. Aunt Amy says that I will get along with Rosalina, my cousin who is just a few weeks younger than me. I did not know Aunt Amy, Uncle Jimmy, and Rose until Aunt Amy showed up to take custody of my fifteen, almost sixteen, year old me. Inadvertently taking me away from a boyfriend I should have left months ago due to abuse I have been receiving from him. She says everything will change where we are going. I can start again. She is taking me to a new life.

I am writing this book with my friend so if you find that there are two completely different writing styles in this book, don't be surprised.
