Fourteen

"So I invited William and Hailey to dinner tonight?" Ariel spoke up.

"What?" I said to her.

"I just needed an excuse for him to see you" Ariel said.

"But you invited her too" I said.

"Yeah I kinda had too" she said.

"Well I can't do this" I said.

"Come on you have too plus we have a hair appointment at 3pm" Ariel begged.

"Ariel i said i'm not doing it!" I yelled as I went into my room and slammed the door.

I sat on the bed and took a deep breath.

I looked in my closet and saw something that caught my eye.

I went up and picked up the box.

It was labeled "Memories"

I opened it and saw a lot of things from my pregnancy with Isabella.

One picture in particular caught my attention.

It was a photo of William and I back in the day.

Those were the good times before everything started going downhill from there.

I look back in my closet and saw the clothes that Ariel bought for me.

These clothes were definitely not my style but if it's something to grab William's attention then I will wear it.

Wait what am I doing?

Why am I chasing after a guy who has a fiancé??

Do I still have feelings for him??

No Melissa you can't he is already taken.

You just happen to be the girl he got pregnant.

I put on the clothes Ariel gave me which is basically a black crop top with ripped black jeans with a leather jacket.

You would never except a mother to wear this.

"Okay I have the ma-" Ariel stopped in her place once she saw me, he jaw immediately dropped to the ground.

"You look like a total badass" Ariel says as I give her a look.

"Watch your language" I said to her.

"Sorry it's just you don't look like a good girl anymore" Ariel said.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked her.

"No absolutely not" Ariel said placing the makeup supplies on the desk.

"Umm I have to continue setting up outside, you get your makeup done" Ariel said as she walking out the door.

Time for the real transformation.

"Smells good!" Mitch barges into the apartment along with Alex and Auston.

"Why did you bring along Alex?" Ariel asked Auston and Mitch.

"Hey am I not good enough?" Alex asked as he started to pretend cry.

"No Alex I didn't mean it in a bad way" Ariel went up to him as she started to feel bad "If it makes you feel better you can stay for dinner."

"Okay thanks Ariel!" Alex said patting Ariel on the shoulder as Ariel just stood there realizing she just got played.

"Idiots" Ariel mumbled as she resumes to set up the table.

"Auntie Ariel is this good?" Isabella comes running in wearing a beautiful pink dress.

"Beautiful mija!!" Ariel said as Isabella twirls around.

She stops and looks at the boys.

"Hello boys" Isabella says taking a seat between Auston and Mitch.

They are interrupted by a knock on the door.

Ariel answers the door to reveal William and Hailey.

"Hey Ariel!" Hailey says giving Ariel a hug which surprised Ariel.

"Hi!! Come in!" Ariel said as William and Hailey walked in closing the front door.
