Chapter 4 – Harkins Academy

[Avery’s POV]

He was naked for Goodness Sake! I didn’t want to look at his naked body but my eyes are glued to him, restraining itself from closing. I’m not enjoying the view because he’s not even that good-looking compared to Ace. He grinned at me wildly. He then started to walk towards me. I kept my gaze on him and not under him. I took my step backward every time he steps forward.

“Don’t come closer,” I said while raising a hand to enhance my gesture.

“So,” he said with the mocking tone of his, “You’re the new student, huh? I think that you’re going to like this school,”

It was dead end. My back’s now leaning against the wall outside his room. No one walked the hallways, but even if there’s somebody out there, it doesn’t matter, for him actually. He doesn’t care if anyone saw him naked here in the hallways.

He then raised his left hand to touch the side of my face. I immediately pulled my face away. I want to run as fast as I could but I could feel something poking me down there and it’s making my legs go jelly.

“Playing hard to get, huh?” the mocking tone in his voice never disappeared. If he thinks that it will work against me, well, he’s unfortunately right. He leaned in closer and muttered something right on my ear which gave me the goose bumps, “I really like girls who play hard to get,”

“Having fun, mate?” I heard a familiar voice. And of course, it’s whom I expected, it was Ace. I’m sure that he’s aware that the guy in front of me was naked, but other than that, he handled it very well. He was a guy after all. “Will you please stop tormenting my friend?”

He stepped away from me and I exhaled the breath I was keeping for minutes. “New make-up partner, my friend?”

“Make-up partner?” I blurted out, not thinking about the consequences of my action.

“Oh,” the guy said. “It is old news, he’s gay.”

I was about to freaking punch the guy because of lying about that thing. I looked at Ace and he was not hurt, not a bit. I felt that my jaw could have dropped on the floor in less than a second. “And so are you,” Ace said. I was attracted to Ace and he’s gay? It was killing me, he’s good-looking and perfect. It was a waste of looks to know that he’s stepping out of his womanhood, as they say.

“I’m not gay,” the guy said. “We had sex yeah,” and now their conversation makes me want to puke. “But that doesn’t mean I’m gay, I’m bisexual. I’m attracted to both genders. So what? I’m having fun!”

“I don’t care,” Ace responded. “I just need her back,”

“Go on,” he said. “I’ll just continue watching what I’m watching. Sooner or later, your friend is going to knock on my door, pleading to have sex with me,”

I immediately ran towards Ace and blurted, “As if,”

Ace and I started to head back to the room full of nice people. Nicer than that guy. I think that I haven’t even mentioned what he was doing a while ago rather than watching porn, right? He was masturbating and it really makes me want to rip all of my hair out.

I never opened the ‘gay part’ to Ace. I was in no state to ask him about that because I was physically attracted to him when I first saw him. And I also know that I have no right to be disappointed because I don’t really know him in the first place.
