Sunny Melodies

Brilliant light,

oh so bright,

when in sight,

it bends the night.

Seen through June,

it marks afternoon,

which will disappear soon,

and be replaced by the moon.

A boiling ball of fire,

flames of desire,

heat to admire,

hotter than a bonfire.

Biggest star in the sky,

in darkness it is shy,

not even a rocket can fly,

it will always go by.

Nothing can beat,

its astounding heat,

that stands trillions of feet,

in its rotating seat.

Morning will come,

the birds will hum,

as night will succumb,

to the dawns early glum.

Oh valliant sun of red,

the nighttime we dread,

the brightness you spread,

make up for the words you never said.
