A light at the end of the tunnel.
A beacon of hope.
A possibility that this could be over.
And Nik brightened at the thought, and then sprinted.
Straight towards the flame.
That wonderful flame.
It didn't matter that his knees trembled so violently the whole world was shaking-
Because the light –
BOOM!
The light at the end of the tunnel was a train.
