A year ago today, (today: March 31st, 2014) I came home from my first every NBA basketball game, and started typing a document in Word, only after feeling the urge to put my experience and excitement into a story. Thus, Some Kind of Madness was born (:
Although the game that I went to go see wasn’t a LA Clippers game, I transferred my feelings into a character named Jordan Hasket, and made a scene as if I had been at one.. Through her, I created a mix of real life experiences as well as fictional ones, which I believe are essential elements in any fan fiction.
I had no intention of making a full 7-part story, much less a 3-part fan fiction series that would be going on for over a year. I wasn’t expecting so many people to read my stories and enjoy them this much, and have them asking for more. There’s nothing more that a writer should want than love from their readers and share a passionate interest with them. What kept me going for so long was the love from my readers and my fellow Blake Griffin fans.
Your words of appreciation are absolutely amazing (: The fact that you’ve all stayed around for so long is just crazy! Even despite my random and/or late updates, you’ve all stuck around and give me praise for every uploaded part. You guys are the most patient readers ever xD
And I love all of you (: I wish I could meet you all in person and tell each and everyone of you how much it means to me that you enjoy all that I’ve done (‘:

If Jordan Hasket from my series was an actual person, she’d be each and everyone of you. Because you’re the ones who fuel her inspiration and give her story life. And for that, I thank you all. You guys are the best (‘:
UPDATE ::
in honor of their anniversary, I will be writing a part for it, but it may not be posted until I am finished writing this entire fanfic. My timing is a little off; I originally wanted to have this story in modern time setting, almost corresponding with real life events, all leading up to today, but that didn't go according to plan. And so, as an extra little gift, there will be an anniversary part added. But not until later ;)
