Chapter 7 (The gloomy days)

It's been days and Anthony has been ignoring me, I tried to explain but he just wouldn't listen

'I'm sorry Anthony. It wasn't what it looked like' I tried to explain

'Of course it wasn't. You were cheating and you were kissing at the streets, how would you explain that?' Anthony shouted then left

He doesn't want to listen to me, at the same time I've been ignoring Ryan. He's the source of all of this. I was walking up to drama when Grace decides to tag along

'I have to tell you something remember?' She said

'Alright, I have to tell you something too' I answered

'Ryan is in love with you, I mean deeply madly crazy in love with you.' She said

'I know' I answered

'You do?' she asked 'But how?'

'Which brings us to my story' I said.

I explained what happened and she thought that Ryan shouldn't have done that and she'll try to explain everything to Anthony. Grace was going to meet me after school to tell me about what Anthony said.

Finally, school is over and Grace is going to walk with me home.

'So, what happened?' I asked

'Before I tell you what Anthony said I have to warn you about Natasha' She said

'What? Natasha? Why?' I asked

'Just listen. She's Anthony's ex-girlfriend and she wants him back. She and her bestfriend, Mahalia are trying to get him and you break-up so whenever you see them don't talk to them or just ignore them.' She cautioned me

'What happened between him and Natasha?' I asked

'Well, they were one of the most popular couples in school. They've been together for a year up until Anthony realised that she has been flirting with boys all around school and that she has been seeing other guys.' She explained

'That's why they broke up?' I asked, then she nodded. 'Alright, tell me about what Anthony said' I added

'He needs time to cool off and it would be better if you go on a break' She said

'A BREAK?!?!?!?!' I exclaimed 'NOOOOOOOOO!!!!'

I start to sob and Grace comforts me. I just can't handle this anymore. I arrived home and I went straight up to my room. I check my account to see if he actually wants us to go on a break. And now I'm sure he's serious because he changed his relationship status to 'single'. I know this is all my fault, if I didn't flirt with Ryan this wouldn't happen. I couldn't stop crying, later on I find myself asleep on a wet pillow.

The next couple of days are just so gloomy and sad. My eyes are always red, and I can't concentrate on anything. Arts is awkward and sometimes he doesn't go in for arts. He's been failing because of me. I feel like such a burden. Why did I let this happen. The 'circle of Vanessa' are no help at all they just talk about how many boys likes them and how pretty they are. I'm actually fed up with it. Grace is the only one I can actually talk too, but I feel sorry for her. She is having a hard time dealing with the 'All stars' they are still asking her to go out with Taylor even if she doesn't want to. Sometimes it's hard being a girl.

'I'm sorry about how he acted' Charlotte said

'It's not your fault, Charlotte. I just wish that I could turn time back' I said

'Don't worry Sav. I'll help you get through this. Just remember that you still have me.' Charlotte said giving me a hug

I don't know what to do without my friends, especially Charlotte. She knows me more than any one else, second to that is Grace. They are the only ones that knows me completely.

The next couple of days are misery. I couldn't look at him. He never looks at me. He never stays at the same room at me. Arts is awkward and sometimes he doesn't attend arts at all. Everything was changing. Feelings are changing, attitudes are changing. His falling behind other subjects because of me, he can't concentrate. I can't concentrate either but that doesn't mean that I won't let our relationship get between me and him. It's finally Friday I couldn't wait to get home, I couldn't wait to flee this endless misery, I couldn't wait to just stay at home and spend time with my family. I just want this to end. I walk up to library after lunch and I got an instinct to go through the hall. I walk up there and I saw Anthony with Natasha, Mahalia, and Vanessa. What could my boyfriend, correction, what could ANTHONY be doing there? Please don't tell me that he wants to get back with Natasha. I know this can get me into trouble but here goes nothing. I stop at one edge and begin to eavesdrop.

'So why won't you get rid of her?' Natasha asked

'Mind your own bussiness' Anthony said trying to ignore them

'Yeah Anthony why won't you just leave her?' Vanessa asked

'To make you shut up.......I did' Anthony answered

That just literally broke my heart. I couldn't believe it. He is in fact leaving me. I try my best to ignore what he said but this huge lump in my throat makes it hard. I try to hold back my tears and try to be strong.

'Good! Then why won't we rekindle what we had?' Natasha said playfully

'Natasha, I don't love you anymore' Anthony said

'Of course you do' Natasha said coming near to him

'Back off, not because I left Savanna doesn't mean I don't love her' Anthony shouted

Oh my gosh! Is it real? Did he just say he still loves me?

'Natasha, leave the poor guy alone. One day he'll be crawling back up to you' Mahalia said

'Anthony, I think you should re-think what you said, girls like me only approaches boys ONCE' Natasha said emphasizing 'once'

'Listen to them, you will one day regret this' Vanessa answered

'I won't, I will never love you again' Anthony answered

'Fine. One last kiss then?' Natasha asked

'No, Mahalia tell your best friend to back off' Anthony demanded

'Why should she? You're single any way.' Mahalia answered

'Just give her one' Vanessa teased

'Come on, we know you want to' Mahalia teased again

'Come on, just one last good bye kiss' Natasha said playfully getting near him

Anthony looked at her eyes. 'Please don't do it' I think to myself'. Anthony comes closer and gives her a kiss. I couldn't stop my tears from falling. I couldn't believe my eyes. I start to sob and didn't realise that my sobbing is getting louder, they finally heard me.

'Hello? Is anyone there?' Mahalia called
