I cleared my troat trying not to stutter.

"Dale?"

["Yes it's me. Sorry to disturb you ah."]

OH MY GOD.

"A-ah. No worries. Bakit? hehehe."

["Kwento ni Liam na may dala ka daw na food sa akin and kay Mama?"]

"Yup! Why?"

["U-uhm. I just wanted to say thank you. I gotta admit nasarapan ako sa niluto mong cordon bleu. Sorry kung hindi ako personal na nag-thank you sa iyo."]

"You're welcome, Dale! I would cook for you anytime!"

I would cook for him everyday. Even if we get married.

Jusko hindi nga ako mahal, kasal agad? *face palm* nako talaga.

["Ahm, he he. Sige thank you ulit, Bye."]

"Sige bye Dale! See you tomorrow!"

Pagkababa ng tawag ay napahiga na ako sa kama ko at nagtititili.

"OH MY GOD! DALE JUST CALLED ME!"

I pinched myself and screamed in pain.

"I'M NOT DREAMING!"

"Huy! Ano na nangyayari sa iyo?" nagulat ako kay Kuya na hingal na hingal pagkapasok sa kwarto ko.

"Dale called me!!!" I hugged my pillow and imagining that Dale is the one I'm hugging.

"Sus." lumabas na si Kuya sa kwarto ko pero nakangiti pa din ako.

The pain that has always been my friend, sometimes give themselves a break too.

Nakatulog ako at nagising ako na may ngiti sa aking mga mukha.

Sobrang saya ko kasi. Bwiset.

Mabuti at mabait pero ang bilis mauto ng mga prof ko for giving me an exception dahil sinabi nina Sarah and Liam na nahospital ako for having a deadly virus that can spread through my body and can kill me and mabuti ay naagapan like that.

Pagkababa ko sa kitchen, nagulat ako dahil hindi si Kuya Kris ang nagluluto.
