Evening out (pt 2) {FIXED}

Ash's POV

My publisher's place is actually on the 20th floor of a building, so we have to take an elevator to get there.

When we get in the buiding, or should I say I get in with Serena's cat form in my pocket, some people and employees, especially the female ones, keep complimenting about the 'kitten' inside my pocket, about how cute she is. Well, about this... remember what I said about 'judging a book by its cover'?

By the way, I know she can hear this, so she keeps smiling or let out some 'meow' to them. She even hides in my pocket, pretends to be embarrassed when someone talks to me. I have to say Serena can become an actress easily in the future.

Anyway, we get in the elevator, which is an outside one. Serena leaks her head out amd looks at the sights of the city in impressment

I hate saying this, but seeing her like this, I have to say she's kind of... cute. Especially when the 'satan' that annoyed me this afternoon now looks like nothing but a little kid in a toy store. I guess she's never seen things like this before

While thinking about her, I put my attention to her when she tugs my jacket

"Oi, stupid Ash! So when will we get there? I'm hungry!" (Serena says while rubbing her stomach)

Can we forget the thing I said before? The one that I said she was cute?

"By the way, why do I have to turn into a cat? I mean, except the fact that you're scared to be judged by someone else when someone looks like your daughter or your girlfriend accompanying you"

Now this is the point where I talk about the reason why

My manager, Lillie Tokou, is actually a good manager to me. However... she has yandere blood, and this is the thing that almost 80% of the employees know

Let me give you an example as a proof

About 5 months ago, she was in love with one of the male employees, Elio. However, things changed when she found out he already had a girlfriend

To be honest, it made my eyes itchy when I looked at how 'romantic' they were at the workplace. But I feel pain for him, especially what happened next

5 days after Lillie found out about his girlfriend, we had been reported that both Elio and his girlfriend were missing. But that's not all

On the exactly same day, Lillie went to her workplace with a very weird backpack, and believe it or not, I actually found some hair leaking out it, and it appeared to be a woman's one

About Elio, she told us that Elio quited his job, but we were not stupid enough to believe that

I believe she might have poked a stick through his heart and barbecued it, or maybe she just simply packaged him and sent to Greenland. But my guessing goes to the first one

Anyway, before this book turns into a horror one, I think I should stop this, since everyone might understand the whole things now

This time, the target she's aiming at is me! And I have some proofs for that!

Every times I give my work to her, she keeps rubbing my back in a very creepy way, and sometimes she even calls me 'honey' or 'darling', which is very uncomfortable, but what can I do more?

If she finds out about Serena and about her living at my place, Serena might turn into some kind of grilled cat meat or become a part of a hamburger, or catburger because she's not a ham, although I'd like to see that. But hey, it's enough for my eyes to see horror scenes in real life
