Luke's POV
"oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh." Anna says shoving her face in a pillow.
"It's not that sca-" Michael begins to say
"shut up it is to me." She says her voice muffled from the pillow.
She peeks her eyes out from over the pillow at a bad time.
"HOLY CRAP NO" she shouts burying her face in my shoulder.
"Yeah don't look up for about.. the next 5 minutes I say.
"Oh wait uh I'm uh sorry." she says scooting over away from me.
"I'm gonna go uh get some more popcorn." She says, nodding her head.
I wait for about 45 seconds then I get up and go down to the kitchen.
She's leaning up against the counter watching the popcorn pop.
"Still enjoy watching popcorn pop huh?" I say smiling.
She screams, spinning around gripping the counter behind her.
"You scared the crap out of me." she says putting her hand over her heart.
"Sorry." I say walking towards her.
"Hey um listen. I'm really sorry about what I said 2 years ago. I have no clue what was going through my mind when I said it but I screwed up. really bad. And like I said you have every right to hate me but if you could just give me another chance. I just wanna be your best friend again." I say tapping the counter with my pointer finger.
"Who said you still weren't by best friend?" she said looking at me.
"But what about Mary Margaret?"
"I've known her for 3 years. I've known you for 12. You just hurt me when you said that. but I mean I was- never mind." she says shaking her head looking down.
"You were in love with me?" I say.
"Well, no." She says blushing.
"I was. and still am." I say.
She stops pouring the popcorn in the bowl.
Great I screwed up again.
"R-really?" she ask stepping closer to me.
"Yeah. like you're all I ever thought about."
"You're all I ever thought about and you still are." she says. we're now just centimeters away from each other. the only remaining space is between our faces. I fill it immediately. I pull back.
She smiles, reconnecting our lips.
Her lips taste like strawberry. Just saying.
