Hello Everyone,

Sorry it has taken a lot longer than I originally planned to have this chapter up. I had a major case of writers block.

I was just gonna re-write the first chapter in Dallas' point of view, but I changed mind.

I still may do that eventually. Maybe for the next chapter if I can't think of how I want it to go. We'll see, but I doubt it. I kind of have an idea where I want the next chapter to go.

Anyways, I hope you like this chapter. It might be a little hectic because I wrote it over a course of a few days.

Please: Read, Vote, Comment, and Fan if you really like it!

Enjoy!

Telling my mom and dad that I had found my mate was...interesting to say the least.

They were just as shocked as I was when I had realized that Dallas was my mate.

We didn't need the translator seeing as my parents knew sign language. It was honestly nice to have someone to 'talk' to without having to go through someone else for once.

~

Once I had gotten home after dad picked me up from school I told him that I had needed to talk to him and mom about something important.

After Mom had seen my forehead and made a huge fuss over it like she normally does when i get hurt, which is a normal occurrence sadly, I had told her to sit down that I needed to talk to her.

She obliged grudgingly, I knew she was worried about the knot and bruise on my forehead from the locker.

I told them both that I tripped.

They were both facing me with a small nervous smile on their face's. They were always nervous around me, they always have been. I just got used to it over the years I guess and didn't take offence because I knew they loved me.

I started to sign, "Mom...dad...I have some news...that you probably won't believe...I mean because I didn't believe it at first...So I know you won't...just here me out okay?"

They both looked at each other, confused, then looked back at me and nodded.

"What is it Ezra." They signed to me.

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes preparing myself mentally for their reaction.

"Mom...dad...I found my mate." I signed looking them in the eyes. When they realized what I had signed and sat there for a moment staring at me like I had grown to heads, they looked at each other and then back at me.

They both started signing at the same time and I couldn't read anything they were saying because they were doing it so fast.

"Mom! Dad! slow down, one at a time. I may be deaf, but I'm not awesome enough to be able to read both of your signs at the same time." I signed to them giving them both an exasperated look.

They looked at me apologetically and looked at each other, my dad nodded at my mom urging her to sign.

"You have a mate?" she signed slowly.

"Yes, I met him today." I signed back.

"Did he accept you?" She asked even slower, more hesitant. She looked like she was ready to comfort me with the answer she knew I was going to give her. Good thing it wasn't the real answer.

"He did." I broke out in a huge grin.

My parent both looked astonished at first but once they realized what I had signed they both broke out in huge smiles as well and hugged me tightly.

I could feel tears on my shoulder from mom crying. I couldn't be for sure, but i think my other shoulder was a little damp from my dad as well. But once we broke the hug he was all composed. Mom on the other hand was still smiling and crying at the same time.

"What is his name, Ezra?" My dad said through the cheesy grin on his face.

"His name is Dallas, Dallas Knightwing." I signed to them with a shy smile on my face as I spelled out his name.

They both immediately stopped grinning and looked at each other confused.

"What is it?" I signed.

"Honey...Dallas Knightwing..." Mom began but stopped and looked confused again.

"Dallas Knightwing is the alpha for the Shadow pack." My dad signed and looked at me through huge startled eyes. Like he couldn't believe it.

"Is that a bad thing?" I signed back not really understanding what the big deal was. I never paid attention to the packs politics mainly because it was too big of a hassle to make Gen sign everything out to me.

They looked at me incredulously like they thought I was crazy. They had never looked at me like that before so I knew something was up.

"What? Tell me." I signed with a somewhat worried look on my face, my eyebrows going together.

"Ezra...Dallas is known throughout our world...infamously...." Dad started to sign but stopped looking back to my mother, wondering if he should actually tell me what was worrying them so much.

My mom nodded to him and he signed deeply closing his eyes for a second and then looked back at me like he was trying to calm a startled animal.

Now I was worried, what could be so bad that they were so freaked out about telling me to the point they were treating me like if they didn't say it in a delicate manner that I would break or something...?

I gave them an encouraging look, so that they knew it was okay that I wouldn't freak out from whatever they were going to tell me.

"Ezra...Dallas is known as the grim reaper in the wolf world...because of how lethal he is in battle...He's known as one of the top most dangerous people in the werewolf world...I'm surprised you didn't know that..." he stopped signing.

Then as if something dawned on both my mom and dad at the same time they used their link, I'm assuming, and talked to each other.

They both looked back at me and mom raised her hands and signed to me.

"Ezra, how did you even meet Dallas?" she signed with a skeptical look on her face.

They were both probably wondering how I could have met him when they hadn't even known, obviously, that he was even in our town.

"He just transferred into our school today. He is in my class. He sits right beside me in the classroom. Or at least that's what I'm assuming since it is the only seat open in our classroom right now." I signed.

"He seemed perfectly nice to me." I signed in confusion.

How could the person I had met today, my mate, be this grim reaper person that they speak of. He was way to nice. There is no way we could be talking about the same person.

There has to be another explanation to this.

"Are y'all sure that we are talking about the same Dallas Knightwing?" I signed.

"What does he look like Ezra?" Mom said with a hopeful expression on her face. Like she was hoping that it wasn't the same person.

"Well..." I started to sign, "He has these gorgeous brown eyes, Messy dark brown hair, a strong jaw, He is pretty tall from what I could tell, probably around 6'4". He's tan like most werewolves." I signed realizing that my general description probably sucked because I only noticed the stuff that I liked about him.

My dad and moms faces were grave as the looked back at me and my dad signed to me.

"Ez, that is Dallas Knightwing...The Grim Reaper."
