Across that mighty ocean
Across that lighthouse
Across that piece of land.
Among the crowed streets
Over their minds of tension
Over the daily worries,
I saw the smiling face
Playing near the house.
After all these years I
Spied the joy that was
In me in her glittering eyes.
Perplexed how this feeling
Faded away........
Just like your foot prints fades
In the beach near
that bay
Those feeling that lighted up my day
Looking at her i felt a
chill across my spine,
That "will she also say
These same old things once again
On a seemingly fine day??".
I never asked for
These spirits to die
Is it why you made me
Stand here and see her smile
All these feelings run in my heart.
Across that piece of land
Across the endless sky
Across that little river
Across that mighty ocean
A place hidden in time
Where the ocean meets the sky.....................
Hello!!!
Hey, I have added a song in the beginning 'Butterfly' by BTS
All you might think why such an unrelated song. To me songs are a form level of poetry(keeping in mind that i am not a poet its just my own view). Butterfly from the song is like the child's innocence and all the feelings you have at that age which transcends all emotions that you feel later, right before you get caught up by the society and everything which was so pure changes with the tint of biased thinking. This is as delicate as the butterfly just like a dream, it might be very beautiful and unconditional but you realise that this butterfly will not stay forever, fear overshadows the moment.
I tried to relate both of them vaguely just tried, I thought of this song so i included it.
It may not be the perfect song to relate to when you are reading glimpse, but if you have any other song in mind please comment below. Please don't forget to vote, LOVE YOU ^_^
