Nothing But Slang

There are some things that are bad for you like smoking. Then what is good for you? The answer is slang.  In the dictionary, it says that slang is not a formal language. This may worry adults, but do not worry we have something that will blow your mind. For example, slang is actually really amazing if you think about it closely. First of all, it is much faster to write. There is a majority of people who use short forms in texts or emails like LOL (laugh out loud). In texts especially, you just want to get to the point. In addition, it expresses your personality. For example, if you write ROFL (rolling on floor laughing), the other person or people can tell you are laughing really hard. Finally, slang is sometimes easier to understand. There are short forms that not everybody knows, but something just as easy as black eye, everybody understands. Black eye is basically like a bruise on your eye, it just means that your eye is black. Overall, slang is good. It’s just another way of communicating; it’s still a language.
